I would be limited by the locks I could demo if I only did ones in doors as you run the risk of damaging the lock. There is a big difference between locks in use and one in your hand - on other videos I put them in a vice to illustrate the technique.
Re dampener/spring spacings, the idea was that if you familiarise yourself with the required spacings of a particular lock, when encountering this lock on the job you will have a good idea.
mul-t-locks can be bumped - check out ukbumpkeys (google it) they sell mul-t-lock bump keys and the forum has loads of videos and discussion about bumping them.
I've got a question for you, I've got a lock, that uses a cross-like key, it's exactly what I said the key-hole is shaped like so + , there are pins on each end of the cross, top lower, left and right, my question is do you think that these types of locks are bumpable?
The shoulders have been completely removed so you can use dampeners, springs, pre-setting and loads of other techniques. That's a weid comment since I've got about 20 vids of me opening countless locks with no shouldered keys
are the Europeans bump keys same as Americans? Cause I don`t where to buy from. Thank you.

Im with you ''recallUK82''... Chris you mention dampners and springs which i agree are better than reseting the key each time.
Telling people how to line them up on the lock. How do you do that when the lock is in the door? As a working locksmith bumping is
hell of a lot diffrent with the lock in the door as having it in your hand. If you are going to demo bumpkeys demo them with locks in the door.
