after the butterfly era, MC's voice completely deteriorated and has never been the same since. it slighty rebounded during the EOM era but it quickly fizzled due to concerts, and lots of tv performances and as a result, her voice quickly gave out and led 2 her lowest point, vocally, the E=MC2 era. she was such a talent! all she needs to do is take a little break 4rm music, like she did b4 the Emancipation era, give up alcohol, and start vocal training again as much as she may not like it'll help

Music is Emotion, and THe so called "crack" was the icing on the cake for this song in this situation. Mariah Carey this was flawless, and it harnesses the emotions of many concerning MJ's passing.
I think it's difficult to sing in the front of Michael T^T. She went there to pay respect to Michael not for her concert there's nothing wrong with her voice. Her new album proves it.

I was their song and I personally think that the Jackson 5 sing it better. But, that would sort of be hard to sing I'll Be There when theres only 4 Jackson brothers there.

after the butterfly era, MC's voice completely deteriorated and has never been the same since. it slighty rebounded during the EOM era but it quickly fizzled due to concerts, and lots of tv performances and as a result, her voice quickly gave out and led 2 her lowest point, vocally, the E=MC2 era. she was such a talent! all she needs to do is take a little break 4rm music, like she did b4 the Emancipation era, give up alcohol, and start vocal training again as much as she may not like it'll help

I think her cracking and not being emotionally stable to perform, made that funeral that much better, it showed emotion, it showed the humanity of Mariah Carey, it showed she has a heart, in which a lot of performers don't show, Stevie Wonder cried as well and he's cried in many other performances, Chris Brown the same. The lost of Michael Jackson was pivotal in the entertainment industry, like the president to the country, he still so much more to do in this world.
