This stupid song pisses me off because I keep singing it all day but I can't even get the real song to listen to. I didn't realize where the song came from until I just saw the target commercial again. I was evening playing Gears of War and singing the song while killing people, lol. Just couldn't remember where I'd caught the tune. -Sigh- So unfortunate.
I realize some people like her albums, and that's fine for them, but I'm glad I'm not alone in wishing "Clap! Shake! Jump!" and the song in this ad were available in full versions. I don't understand why big corporations spend millions trying to figure out what people would like to buy - but then they spend more millions suing YouTube, even though sites like this could give a much better indication of what people want than whatever method they are using now.
I know - I expected her music to sound like Belly or something from the Target ad's sound, but then her solo stuff is more like self-indulgent folk stuff that's a dime a dozen.
Andrea Revel did "Clap! Shake! Jump!" for an Old Navy ad years ago, and she promised a full version would be made available, but it never was. So now it looks like she has done it (or should I say, not done it) again. No offense, but the music by Andrea Revel that IS available for purchase is... awful.
How do you know it is Andrea Revel? Her voice is similar, but I don't see anything on her sites acknowledging this exposure - surely she would shout this kind of thing from the rooftops?

I love Andrea Revel. she used to be my music teacher in elementary about 4 years ago.
