Still I'm sure that this lyric will help you understand the general idea though: "my god betrays, watches my love bloom, and curses it down" and eventually "strangles the life of my day". I wish the band or somebody else could write down the lyrics for us all.
Oh how I adore this song. Such a controversial issue, yet so cleverly subtle in the lyric writing. Cherry Ghost are absolute geniuses.
