  • Jack Lee is a great teacher. Came to my school a few weeks ago ^^

  • Piobaireachd played by a band sounds awsome. The first band I heard play piobaireachd was Invergordon Distillery pipe band. This would be a great kind of competition in the future?

  • Wonderful

  • That's a lot of bagpipes.

  • Superb. *****

  • Outstanding performance, no other words can describe

  • Donald MacLeod and SFU, What a great combination. Stellar.

  • Go hÍontach ar fad ! Great stuff !

  • SFU has played several Piobaireachds and performed the Canntaireachd (singing) as part of the presentation. It does add something to the performance and exposes many not familiar with it to Piobaireachd. One of my favorites they did was Andrew McNeil of Colonsay. But this now ranks quite high on my favs now. Thanks for posting.

  • This is some good stuff.

  • WOW! What a sound! And all in unison! Amazing sound!

This band did a great job! Top shelf thumbs up men!

  • Extraordinary !!

  • Lovely arrangement.

  • Very, very moving. I like the Ceol Mor but don't get to hear it very often, the audiences aren't very discerning and only want to hear "Amazing Grace."

  • bloody good tune, play it myself

  • does anyone have a music sheet for that tune? I've been looking for it all over :(

  • CelticGladiator7: try looking in Donald MacLeod Book 1.

  • @CelticGladiator7 if you find a copy, could you let me know ?

  • @Postie218 still haven't found it buddy... but if i do i'll definitely let you know, will you do the same?

  • @CelticGladiator7 Will do.

  • @CelticGladiator7 Hey friend, I just found the tune listed in ( Donald MacLeod's book of Piobaireachd Vol 1) I think College of Piping has it. Cheers

  • wish I were there...

  • those harmonics sound amazing.

  • What's with the flat Fs this year?? Whole band in pitch tho. Must be a reason.

  • i don't man but they sound a bit funky to my ear

  • Loved the singing!

  • that was the caintaireachd (sp ?) of the tune, wasn't it? Very cool arrangement idea. I like it when an innovation in traditional music comes from a deeply rooted source and adds, not detracts, from a performance. Goodness knows it's hard to do well and most of the time it fails but I think this works well,

  • astounding

  • Champion ! *****

  • Very Nice. Would have liked to have seen this live!

  • Beautiful, no other words for it. last thing I expected was to hear the singing
