@graceesbuddie You just play the game and get the Sims (2 males or 2 females) to a high enough relationship to fall in love with each other, same as how you get straight ones with it :)

Have Harry as your active Sim, then click on Snape and you should get the pie menu with options. Click on "hug" then click on "Leap into arms" :)

Now my male Sims have the alien type birth with the baby coming out of the plumbob and then the father is surprised to see the kid. How did you get him to just spin and have the baby? Did you just do the twins cheat and showed just the one baby? 'cause the whole alien thing bugs me a bit, the baby isn't an alien. I'd like to know if there's an alternative.

I used the Insimenator to get him pregnant, then the birth is just like a normal female one in the Sims. With the insiminator, you can also pick whether or not you want twins or a single baby. But on a couple of mine, they had twins randomly, LOL! The Insiminator can be found here: insimenator dot net

I just realised, I had turned off the "speical events" camera, if you turn that off in game options, that should give you the birth without the baby coming our of the plumbob :)
