Sigh. I wonder why a few people don't like Neeley's take on Jesus. Hello? He was awesome here. It's a rock opera, people. And it's Jesus, on his way to his crucifixion, for crying out loud. The way these people carry on, you'd think Jesus here should've sounded like the Phantom of the Opera. He sweated blood in Gethsemane just stressing over the decision to let himself die. Neeley understood this. And he's...what, supposed to have a sugar-coated voice here? Ick.
