WOW, I'm so glad I wasn't old enough to get into fighting games when this came out. having infinites just ruins a fighting game for me. I hate fighting games that separate the casual players to the hardcore players too much.

I mean it in the sense of 'these old games require a much higher level of skill compared to nowadays where new games are noob friendly'. SFIV has no0b friendly relaxed controls. MVC3 has stupid Xfactor to do insane damage abd gain the ability to wipe an entire team out. Noah is proof of being bad and being successful.

Time to practice? MVC2 had 10 years dude. If you only joined in on MVC2 5 years in, you had another 5 more years left of it's lifespan. That's plenty of time to practice. I love SFIV (Super was amazing, but AE was terrible) so I'm not some Third Strike/Old School elitist but those games showed who were really skilled. Capcom need to go back to setting things right with their games.

Its just a different type of game than its newer offspring

Why do peeps complain about top tier teams like MSS MSP etc? The Shit these pros do is crazy hard and take strict timing unlike its scrub friendly counterpart MVC3 where timing doesn't matter till longer combos. MSS FTW.
Btw, unblockables, guard breaks, and infinites are just examples of ways to punish an enemy player for making a mistake. That's why most comebacks are possible. One mistake even with a 1v3 situation you can lose. Besides, this game would be VERY boring if it were just 5 hit BnB combos to win.
Ah mvc2, sure it's got tons of glitches, overpowered characters, and cheap stuff, but that's what makes the game fun. Oh, and if your good at something, then your good at it. It's not a shit game. It's one of the best fighting games there is. 10+ years strong!

Even though I don't play MvC2, I know an epic beatdown when I see it, especially from 2:00 onward! Man, that is the most hilarious ragequit I've ever seen or will see.
