One of the greatest moments in metal. I loved Saxon! The sound of those Marshalls at 220 volts gave me chills back in the day. Metal like this could have started a revolution. Saxon lost the alot of magic when Pete Gill was replaced after this lp. I awaited every Saxon album in those days. Great amazing 2 guitar metal onslaught!
@Mutleytech They DIDN'T spend the night in the slammer because they knew how to defend themselves against police profiling. Cut your hair so it doesn't block your ears, or at least get some glasses so you can read the lyrics: "You should have seen the stupid smirk drop from his face—it was a negative exercise; the way that we dress and the things that we do, they thought it was an easy bust." With their bikes and leather jackets, you'd take them for methheads, right? WRONG!
wow just saw these guys i got a plectrum to :D it was one of the best gigs ive been to so far i fuckin love saxon i went crazy when they played this song :DDDD
Saxon were from a breed of British bands under the title NWOBHM. That stands for New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. Bands like Def Leppard, Maiden, Priest and Samson were all part of it. It it's day it WAS Heavy Metal.
@baz00ka984 You just don't understand because you're from a new generation. Trust me, this is and always will be metal. It's old school, all the old rockers know this as metal, and they are listed on metal-archives as a band. Even I know they're metal and they were way before my time.
@VitalSigns1 You can call it whatever you want, but that doesn't change the fact what it really is! I wonder, what Saxon has to say about it... Do you really think they were playin' metal, back in those days? It's pure hard and heavy....ROCK! Yeah...! :)
@baz00ka984 You can call it whatever you want, but that doesn't change the fact about what it really is!! Saxon are legends of metal, and Biff Byford recently tried to make Heavy Metal an official religion. "Do you really think they were playing metal back in those days?" Holy crap dude you're fucking stupid...this was from 1980, metal has been around since 1968. Goddamn kid you have a lot to learn.
@VitalSigns1 You call me stupid and you don't even now me? That sentence reflects your own stupidity, if you ask me. You do not poses basic form of manner, and you dare to debate about anything??
I even speak your language, I bet you can't say HELLO on my language, so who's stupid now?
The fact that you are older then me, should mean that you are more wise than I am, but in your case it means you missed to learn some elemental stuff in your life, such as to be polite!
