  • THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Just made these!! So yummy!

  • what type of milk did you use? my freind made these and she used whole milk but does it matter whuch kind?

  • @elizabethgirlz I don't think it matters which kind of milk you use, I used 2%

  • Just a few helpful tips, top the dough with a pinch of salt right before you bake it. I used to work there and that's really all they do besides what you're doing. Also, try crumbling up your cheese so that it's not long strands. :) THIS IS PRETTY SPOT ON THOUGH... YOU ARE AMAZING!!

  • @ToriBidr19 I like the pinch of salt idea!

  • @ToriBidr19 Hi, do you put the salt on top of the raw dough or when you top the baked biscuits? Thank you so much

  • Use half & Half or buttermilk instead of Milk....costs more..tastes better

Never use 1% 2 % or Skim milk to make Biscuits...might as well use water no body no flavor and no satisfaction at all!!

  • @MrToddG123 Thank you for the suggestion :)

  • @MrToddG123 She is making a copycat recipie, do not tell her what to do, somebody said that she was spot on that works there so please refain from your egotisitcal comments.

  • @Idamdcillinzie Am I not allowed a comment ? Does not my suggestion warrant a try?

Is my comment so offensive to you that you call my suggestion egotistical..

Granted, Space is limited in the comments section so I do try to keep things condensed. Perhaps that is why you perceive the comment as egotistical. I assure you, it is meant as an Option and a warning against the thinner dairy products which i have tried and found undesirable in the finished product.Others may prefer the non fat way

  • @MrToddG123 Oh sorry.

  • AHHH! I love you! I've only been to Red Lobster once in my life, and it was when I was on vacation, so when I went there I grabbed some of the biscuits and stuffed them in my purse and ate them on the plane back. That's how much I loved them. I never even thought about finding a similar recipe online. Thank you soooo much for uploading this! ♥

  • some years ago I worked at Red Lobster and when we would run out of the 'Red Lobster' pre-packaged biscuit batter, we'd take a trip to the supermarket for a few boxes of bisquick, so this recipe is pretty much spot on!

  • can i cut them into stars

  • these are so goood!

  • Well I made them last night I can say that they were good but I don't think that they tasted like the ones from red lobster . I need to try making them again anyway my over must run a bit hotter and they browned more than it should have might have changed the taste.

  • Can we use flour instead of bisquick. I don't like bisquick. But anyway look good:)

  • @megsweetie17 Look for a copycat recipe for bisquick online if you don't want to use it. Bisquick just isn't flour (it contains, salt baking powder/soda and fat)

  • @yoyomax12 can I use aunt jemima instead?

  • god bless this recipe.

    (':

  • Would it work with plain flour?

  • @hommyyy123 Look for a copycat recipe for bisquick online if you don't want to use it. Bisquick just isn't flour (it contains, salt baking powder/soda and fat)

  • i had to come find this one again....think I am finally gonna make them today.

  • @dreamer72fem Didja make em?

  • @yoyomax12 I sure did make them...and they were YUMMY!

  • haha my cousin made this for thanksgiving. i have to try this when i go home from college :D

  • my brother made some for thanksgiving. they were so damn good :D

  • Made these for the family tonight to go with some Chili and my whole house smells amazing! Taste was out of this world delicious as well...should made a 2nd batch the way they flew into mouths >.<

    10/10 Taste

    10/10 Easy to make

  • I made them like 2 times! :D thanks'

  • i work at red lobster and watch them make this everyyyday. i love the smell.

  • I freakin love these biscuits, and you rock

  • AHHHHHHHHHH NUM NUM NUM NUM NUM NUM get in my belly!!

  • @Roewking93 Thanks for watching!

  • Do I have to use Cheese?

  • @Janeblazington no, but then they would just be regular biscuits

  • Taste sooooo good. Thanx for sharing

  • @Evee0405 Thanks for watching!

  • I can't wait to try this out, my wife loves these so much, they will blow her away.... Thank you

  • @jetsboy5077 I guarantee she will like these, please let me know if she did!! :)

  • @yoyomax12 I finally tried these out, yes!!!! she loved them, they were really great with baked salmon and a glass of white wine

  • Thank you for the recipe. I just made this yummy biscuits and they came out really nice and tasty! Not to mention that it's super easy and fast. :)

  • @nctmnck Thanks! :)

  • I used a similar recipe you did, but I had no idea about the parsley or the 5 minutes after adding the butter mixture. I definitely need to try that tomorrow.

  • @ubergamer2010 Thanks for watching

  • Is this mild or sharp cheddar?

  • @BiancasEgo I used medium

  • or can i use soy milk?

  • @TechnoMetalDude Water, skim milk, soy milk, I dont think it will make much of a difference in these

  • can you use skim milk? btw this is a great easy recipe thanks :)

  • u forgot severalngrediants that includes butter parlsley and garlic powder according to the original recipe

  • @deathdriver2007 The ingredients are listed in the description box if you read all of the insructions.

  • If by chance anyone has leftovers, a good milk gravy over top is soooo delicious for breakfast. Could probably do a sausage gravy also, I'm not a fan of that kind.

  • @KissHope That sounds sooo good. When I travel to the southern US I can hardly wait to have gravy and biscuits!

  • @yoyomax12

You might have to go to a neighborhood restuarant to get the good stuff otherwise it will come out of bag. Being from Kentucky gravy, grilled foood and sweet tea runs through our veins. Have you made gravy using bacon grease? Soooooo good. If you need some info on please let me know and I will share how I make it. If you grew up poor like I did, some diced up bolony was added to the gravy. You got some protein with the rib sticking gravy but I love it too very tasty.

  • these never end up tasting like the ones at red lobster

  • @willludsgoesham Never exactly no.

  • ohh, i need that cow pan in the background @ 3:00 .! :] and thanks for the great recipie. :]

  • @race13girl That is my cow kettle and it was a wedding gift many years ago. thanks for watching

  • Look up Big Batch Cheese Garlic Biscuits on the Betty Crocker web site -- its the recipe I use -- it is similar to this and the results are wonderful

  • @Animosity2UandU thanks for the recipe suggestion, I will check it out!

  • I make these biscuits probably once a week for the family, but I like to add some onion powder to the melted butter, as well as adding some of the garlic powder and onion powder to the biscuit mix itself. I find they come out a lot more flavorful this way, and I don't have to use as much butter on top!

  • @misslavey Great suggestion for reducing the butter without losing taste

  • So I don't need eggs for this recipe?

  • @BlaQWuhMyn nope

  • @yoyomax12 Thank you sooooooooooo much for the recipe! I made them three nights ago with Beef stew and they were delicious! My husband said thanx also! :- )

  • @BlaQWuhMyn You are very welcome! I'm happy you enjoyed them and thank for letting me know :)

  • Oops I meant 4 heaping tablespoons.

  • @oOmysticfeatherOo well put it this way, if she uses around about 2.75 tablespoons of dough (said 2.5 to 3 tablespoons in the video) to make 10, then if you use the same amount of mixture as shown to make each biscuit 4 heaped tablespoons, then you're looking at making about 6 biscuits per mixture.

So, if you want to make enough mixture for 20 people (with each person having one each), you would have to times the amount of mixture shown here by about 3 - or 4 to be on the safe side :) x

  • Thanks! I only have one question. If you make them a little bigger, how many would you get? I think about 2 heaping table spoons is what I'm looking for, because I'm making them for my birthday party next Saturday! I have about 20 people coming so please tell me if I need to double the recipe!

  • @oOmysticfeatherOo For 20 people I would double or triple this recipe if you plan on making them big.

  • Thank you so much for this recipe! I made this for my mom and it definitely left her speechless, lol. I can't wait to make these again (:

  • Your the greatest thank you so much I love you

  • @stylista19 Glad you liked the recipe, what is nice about these is that you can control the amount of butter you pour over them in the fat bothers your stomach

  • OMG

  • @FunnyFunnyVideos omg good? :)

  • thanks

  • @ddogs45 You are welcome, enjoy!

  • Here's a tip: It would probably be a little easier to mix the bisquick and milk first and then blend in the cheese :-)

  • @sonamara997 Thanks for the tip

  • @sonamara997 I found the opposite to be true, i actually put in the milk and cheese first, and then the Bisquick and it's a ton easier for me

  • I was looking for a cheese biscuit recipe and landed on this page. When I first heard the Canadian pronunciation of about (aboot). I almost reached for the back button. I'M GLAD I DIDN'T. These biscuits taste great and are just as simple to make as the video shows.

  • @gapedhok You almost didn't watch a video because of the pronunciation of a word? Seriously?

We say ab-out , about, not ab-owt. You should really look past the way people speak, you may be missing out on a lot of the world.

  • OH MY GOD! These taste amazing...I have never been to Red Lobster but friends who tried them said they love these biscuits better! These vanished in 15minutes out of the oven.

  • @1992jbrian Glad you enjoyed them and thanks for letting me know!

  • I made these last night and they were delicious, so good in fact that I was asked if I stopped at Red Lobster and ordered some to go;) Thanks for the recipe!

  • @lip2tip Glad you enjoyed the recipe, they are quite good!

  • i make the biscuits at red lobster lol

  • @mickgepford do they use Bisquick? :)

  • thank s for the recepie

  • @amazingbanana101 thanks!

  • yummmmmy

  • I made these tonight, mine did stick.. but I use what I call a 'disposable cookie sheet', a tinfoil one from the dollarstore. Probably should have gotten the cheese mixed in a little better. I didn't use the butter, garlic powder and parsley mix, I just used a little garlic butter brushed on but they were still yummy. Next time I will try the butter, garlic powder mix. Now I need to go and get another one.

  • @Garnet77 Next time if you use the disposable sheet make sure you grease it really well with shortening or vegetable spray

  • These look great!!!

  • @pandmonium2k7 Thanks!

  • I don't really like seafood, the biscuits are the only reason I go to red lobster! lol great video!

  • @Canadiangurl75 I have to keep myself from eating too many before the meal comes, they are really good!

  • ** YUMMY **

  • @Jazzy066 Thanks!

  • Woman... this is about the 5th video of yours that I've seen and I'm literally laying in bed slack jawed at these recipes you have. Not only are they AMAZING, they're EASY! How do you do it? I'm literally puzzled as to how you've come up with so many great ideas... You are now my quick fix food guru. *bows*

  • @TigersPrettyBunny I find most of my recipes in magazines and in books. None of my recipes are original, they are all created by others initially. thanks for the great comment anyway!

  • I recognized the Canadian accent, as well! I apparently had/have one, as well! I've been in the states for 7 yrs though so I think it's fading. Anyway, I was wondering have you ever tried stuffing these (w/ chicken or something)? Also, do you know if I can make the dough ahead of time, refrigerate it, and then bring to room temp, and then bake? thnx!

  • @unagiroll I think that stuffing these or mixing in another ingredient would be great in these. I don't see why you couldn't make them ahead of time. thanks for stopping by.

  • I made this the other day! It turned out great! They tasted like the real deal! Thanks :) I love these copycat recipes :)

  • @karreekay I also love copycat recipes, I tried a Kentucky Fried chicken coating recipe the other day (didn't film it though) and it was very good, but not really close.

  • OMG I made those biscuits and they are AMAZING!!! They taste just like the ones from red lobster!!! Thank you thank you thank you! Love your videos!

  • @Indiana1384 Thanks so much for letting me know you tried these! I really do enjoy hearing from people that enjoy the recipes I post, it's what makes YT fun for me.

  • @yoyomax12 I still can not get over how good these biscuits are! My Mother is a huge fan of Red Lobster and I plan on making these for her. I'm so glad you make videos like these, they are very easy to follow! I really appreciate it! Thanks again!!!

  • making this right now :D

  • @MyLittleMaker Great! hope they turned out for you

  • @yoyomax12 they were delicious and everyone was surprised I made it all by myself well with the help of you of course ;D

  • @yoyomax12 Could I use flour instead of Bisquik Mix? Or is there some way I could make something like it? :) Thanks!!

  • you sound Canadian am i right?...or maybe from MN i love your cute accent!! :)

  • @mattsthoughts2010 Yes, Canadian and we don't think we have an accent, lol.

  • @cheergymgurl123 Cheese is not gooey at all, they really are like the RL biscuits.

If you are concerned about the cheese reduce the amount in the recipe to 1/2 or 3/4 of a cup.

  • Nice receipe! I want to make this but they dont sell bisquick here in Holland so what can I use instead? I've never baked before but I'm craving for "red lobster" biscuits so please help out ;)

  • @djstevez There are copy cat recipes for bisquick on line, just google it and you can make your own.

  • @yoyomax12

    will do! thx!

  • I know these have to be good, they are bread, cheese and garlic, all my fav food groups ; ) I agree hot biscuts are always best.

    Thanks for sharing this.

  • I love it how americans say parsley.

  • @TarnaChick I am Canadian.

  • @yoyomax12 Well... you get the point. It sounds awesome.

  • OMG I MADE THEM!! THEIR AMAZINGG GUD JOB :DD

  • @11mrsbrown11 Glad you enjoyed them!

  • yum i love those biscuits!!!

  • @starkrazi So do I!

  • Did a chicken stirfry today, and made biscuits. A half recipe makes 4 *healthy* biscuits, and the hardest part of it is licking all the leftover dough off your fingers. That stuff sticks like glue!

I ate all 4 of them, and that garlic butter, IMHO, adds a finishing touch that Red Lobster should be jealous of. They're absolutely delish! And they'll be adding to my cholesterol count regularly now. LOL

  • @anmoose The dough is very sticky! You need to use the "two spoon" method, scoop with one and push off the glob of dough onto the pan with the other.

Glad you enjoyed them John. :)

  • Those look really scrumptious!!!

  • @Texa41 thank you!

  • Awesome! Remarkably simple recipe, and you can betcha that I'm gonna be making these tomorrow. Thanks, Tammy!

And there's no such thing as too much garlic... :-)

  • remind me of cheese scones recipe

  • @cuti3muffiN They are cheese scone like, but have the butter and garlic over top!

  • Those look great Tammy! Yummy!

  • @TheChattagirl Thanks Christina

  • kool

  • @occfan2008 Thanks Johnathon

  • 1. is granulated garlic the same as garlic powder?

    2. Your cookie sheet only has one edge to it. Is that better than a cookie sheet that has raised edges all around it?

    3. I love Bisquick, but haven't had it in years. I wonder why.

    4. This was for Moosie, wasn't it?

    - roc

  • @popparoc46

    1. Same taste, one is fine like powder the other like sand, they can pretty much be used interchangeably.

    2. My cookie sheet has a missing edge because it is designed so that you can just tilt the cookie sheet and slide the completed cookies off onto a plate, but that never works.

    3. Bisquick also makes good pancakes and not bad pizza dough.

    4. This was for Moosie, remember our conversation at Red Lobster, I mention this in yesterday's vlog.

    -tam

  • OMG I flippin love those I had no clue they where that easy OMG YESSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • @H3ADY1313 Easy Peasy

  • @jiffy59 You are welcome, thanks for stopping by. :)

  • The best cooking , decorating , quilling and all things you do channel :)

  • @jihahmj99 What a sweet comment! Thank you!

  • I wrote this recipe down while you made them and I can't wait to make them myself! I love the biscuits at Red Lobster!! Yummm

  • @mysteryglo These are best right out of the oven, or next day microwaved for a few seconds.

  • mmm, cheese! Great recipe-- I've only made one copycat recipe and that was for Applebee's Fiesta Lime Chicken.. delish.

  • @MerelyMandolin We don't have Appplebee's here! Wish we did, the food in the commercials I see on tv looks good. :)

  • I love these and just bought a box of Bisquit too!

  • @catladyof5 These are best right out of the oven

  • WILL THAT WORK WITH PANCAKE MIX? BECAUSE I HAVE PANCAKE MIX AT HOME BUT IT'S NOT BISQUICK...

  • @rach85256 Bisquick mix has a higher fat content in it, so I don't know what would happen with pancake mix, sorry

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • @xhottestpink Thanksss

  • I just LOVE these biscuits!!!!

  • @1DRock37167 Me too. :)

  • Yummmm, I have been wondering how they make them.

  • @Seedcovers There you go! :)

  • oh wow.. i love red lobster... do u know how to make their clam chowder too? cuz thats what i eat the biscuits with :D

  • @moofeyy Never had their clam chowder before. I love clam chowder, but no one else does here in my house so I never make it. :)

  • This is the recipe I use too. It's delicious, and people have asked me specifically to bring a batch of these to parties!

  • @GreyingJay These have a nice cheesy flavour to them.

  • I have all the ingredients so I'm going to make them tomorrow. Thanks!

  • @ArgentineShamrock Great!

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!! drooling, haha!

  • @sparklicupcake lol.

  • what brand do you use? where do you buy it?

  • @PepperBabe It is call Bisquick, that is the brand name and it is found in the baking aisle of my grocery store.

  • Wow - no kneading or rolling or anything! Easy breezy. I'll try that for sure. We do eat buscuits this time of year. They go so well with stew and chili and soup. Great recipe = thanks! Oh and I just read in your notes about home made bisquick - good idea!

  • @thizizliz No kneading! If fact they recommend you don't over mix it either.

People hardly ever read the description, I get many questions from people and the answers are right there! A little frustrating sometimes.

  • @yoyomax12 Yeah - indeed! Sometimes we just get lazy - not really fair after you go to all the trouble. This recipe looks terrific. I may try it very soon. :)

  • Next time you make these, try putting some dill or basil and oregano in them. Then when they come out of the oven, brush them with melted butter. So good! I even put a tad bit of garlic powder in the biscuits too.
