@Thizzer4 there's no right and wrong way. as long as its an airtight mount and the polarity of the wires is reversed, inverted is actually better, more airspace and results in a higher box tuning for more SPL, or deeper bass in sealed.

No. It actually doesn't matter as far as that is concerned. The same amount of air is displaced. It does cool better though.

Inverting subs does cool better. Porting a box gives you more bass, but sealed boxes are clearer, but not as loud.

All inverting a sub does is give the inside chamber of the box a different ammount of space inside it, doesnt change anything, I ran 2 different Lightning Audio 12s way back, the first one was always in "right", and the second one was always inverted, no difference, I really just did it cause I cracked its "beauty plate" cone and didnt want people seeing its ugly-ness

okay well i have a newer video that shows it. oh well. um, you get a dc power supply 12 or more volts and if your running 1800w, i'd get one more then 50 amps, and then get a capaacitor and like 4 gauge wiring. so you hook it up just like in a car. and u put a little wire from the power in on the amp the remote on the amp. and if your amp has a subwoofer rca out, put it to one of the rca in's on your amp. if not then get speaker wire that at one end is open +/- wire and the otehr a rca cable.

im 13 yrs old and i loev car audio, i talk about it 24/7, so i have the power wires from the head unit and amp going to the 100amp fuse then a 3inch wire going to the batterie, then i have the negative from the amp+deck going to the - on the batterie. then i have teh speakers going to the wire harness on the back of the deck, i have teh FM wire going out the bak to the window. and the rca cable to the amp wer ther is 2 wires going to each sub(1 to each but 2 wires total)

I can hook it to the jumpstart box that will run the radio its 12 volts and the jumpstart box provides 12 volts, im thinking of rigging my old cordless drill to run off of the jump box and that is 12 volts also possibly by hooking it to the inside of the battery somehow

keepNitloud im not sure how many amps it puts out i dunno how to test that, but it ran a car halogen headlight I found and it runs the cordless shark vac by euro pro ive ran a trunked 2 way radio off it, ive ran everything 12 volts off it i ran a portable boombox and that takes 8 D batteries

one 50 amp car batterie. my system is only pullin 280 watts(180w deck+ 100w rf amp). so i only need about 20 amps to run it all, but my battier puts out 50 amps, so i jsut charge it in my garage every night.. its e-z

I have a jumpstart box would that work, I got it for 20 bucks at the christmas tree shops store they r open all the time and they dont just sell xmas stuff, i dunno how many amps its capable of pushing but i do have a cordless vacuum that i rigged into a car vac i run the vac off the jump box
