E3 2006 The Nintendo Wii Line

E3 2006 was insane, because all 3 main hardware developers were putting ALL their chips into table, betting it all. And Nintendo's presentation was so epic and memorable, it was unbelievable. And you'd see lines for the Wii and NO ONE going to the other booths. I have never seen such a reaction for a game console, and I never will again.

He then explained to us that we had until 10am to return the tickets for the eligibility of purchasing a Wii. BTW, I wrote this comment using the Wii's Opera Browser (or.. I got mine the day it came out (11/19/06) I waited outside of Best Buy (in 34 degree weather with 26 degree wind chill) for almost 9 hours from about 12:30 am to about 9 am. I was told a few nights prior that they were going to have an expected amount of 30 to be sold. I was number 17. When I got there, the line stretched from the door to the left corner. Then at about 7am the line then stretched almost all the way towards the back of Best Buy (I counted 78).
