Thanks :-) The video is comprised of still images taken with PhotoBooth, so a lot of the image effects are from that. As for iMovie effects, I can't recall specifics at this point, but I think I used pretty much all of them at some point.
Extremely well done for being the first time. As you have concentrated on percussion you may do with color aswell and try a black and white version...
