I don't think the movie was really that bad. It's Dutch production and that's what you see back in the movie. But I admit, it takes some time to get used to typical Dutch movies ;)
Flora Montgomerey is a very sexy young british woman, who seems to enjoy being nude in front of a camera. This movie was awfull. The book is probably the best book ever written, I really, really, loved the book. but the movie was horrible.
