hope he`s on the dais of the very next roast and the roast after that and the roast after that and the one after that and the one after that, keep my fingers crossed.
Ok, I didn't get the baby in the bath tub Joke? please explain that one? And I didn't get the one about making an anoucment at the grocrey store (so like he works there and he's replying back to them or something?)
@ani1616 You can't assume that everyone in the room has heard your jokes before. Comedians perform so frequently, it's nearly impossible to have a new set each time they perform. Sometimes, they'll do a show and mix in new material with successful old material, to see if the new stuff will work.
@Meadowlands True. Look at Bill Hicks. He did 300+ nights a year before getting sick and lazy. Of course it also comes down to your service record: more years = more shit. So, naturally an old wolf would have more variety in his act than a young pup.
I don't understand why there even is a dispute. Your friend is a fantastic and very original comic (that latter of which is quite rare). When I first heard him peform that baby joke on Down'n Dirty I didn't think anything could top it. I was sort of right, but having a baby on stage while he tells it exponentially increases it's laugh value. You're awesome for having your daughter on stage to add to his performance. And congratulations, she's adorable.
Are you retarded? She just stood there silently while he did all his baby jokes. You're so gullible. Do you still put cookies and milk out every Christmas?
To settle the dispute, I wasn't exactly part of the act. Anthony is a friend of mine and we were there as part of a Going Away Party/Show. Before Anthony went up, he asked if it was okay to bring Isabel on stage. It wasn't planned.
I'd just say in general, he had those jokes well before the show, so to say the woman or baby was "part of the act" would imply that jokes were somehow intended to revolve around that specific woman/baby... which was not the case :)
hope he`s on the dais of the very next roast and the roast after that and the roast after that and the one after that and the one after that, keep my fingers crossed.

I once had a dream similar to this, except I wasn't holding a baby and Anthony wasn't wearing clothes.

Yeah, Jeselnik's had those jokes for years. It was just a spontaneous move, bringing us up on stage.
