chemical in instant cold paks works well when desolved with water and obsorbed by paper to make pretty good smoke screens for evacutaion or signaling partners
-Last time I checked a pack of gum was a few grams... Do you chew lead filled gum or something?
-Not sleeping can be an EVEN BIGGER problem than too deep of a sleep. Additionally it doesn't produce "uncontrollable" sleep.
-Ever hear of ziplock? Also soap is too bulky but you think a huge bottle of antibacterial gel is better? When your all oily and are breaking out with skin infections let me know how that no soap thing works out.
@Voodoo8648 There is a reason my video has over 60,000 hits and you haven't broken 500 yet buddy. Make sure to leave extra space for your Aberchrombie gear.
Wow is all I can say! I put together some kits for my family 'bout 1 yr ago. We live in an earthquake area, so I had to make 7 bug out bags: There's me, my partner and young daughter, so 1 each at work, 1 for each car, 1 each at home and 1 for daughter. I'm very impressed with the effort you've gone to. We had to do our kits on a pretty light budget. Biggest mistake I made was I got cheap bags. All the straps broke when I tested! Wish I'd seen your ideas first, it would have changed what I did.
@airbournepickle By cheap bags do you mean back packs? If it is not too rude for me to ask how cheap did you go on the bags. I have a $30 bag(Outdoor Arrowhead 8.0) I bought from wal mart that I use as my day pack and it has held up fine.
@Christopher711. Hey sorry for the delay in reply. No, I wanted to get backpacks but at the time I was a total "newbie" and wend for sports bags because they were way cheaper. I think they were about 15 NZD which is about 8$ US. The sports bags came with a shoulder sling and handles, but the shoulder sling was badly stitched so all of them broke under load. So for the work ones, my partner and I now have backpacks. $30 US would be about $55 NZ dollars which would get us an Ok bag - CHeers!
One other thing, the most concentrated soap that I can think of concentrated liquid dish soap. A few drops can clean you up pretty good, can be used for hair, dishes, everything
the Bic lighter is a poor mans ferous rod because even if the lighter fuel is to cold or run out the sparking devise is acually carried by the special forces and extreme survival little device. the spark wheel is put on a plastic rod to use. How much is your surgical kit.
I RECOMMEND A TORCH LIGHTER . LIGHTS UP UNDER EXTREME CONDITIONS. LOOK UP THE DIFFERENT MODELS UNDER IMAGES.

-gum is bulky and useless. Number of sticks equals number of sex lays.
-Melatonin- (un-adviseable) due to uncontrolable sleep. U need alertness
-soap- (un-advisable)- bulky & will melt.

I save dryer lint to use for a fire starter when I am camping and hiking - might be good in a BOB as well.

Some of the stuff I showed is not actually included in my pack - there is just not enough room. I was just demonstrating options available.

That fire piston is excellent and I'm glad you didn't get more than you bargained for when you struck that firesteel!
