  • ooh Mr Stephen ooh

  • @mylightside

    he's homosexual, no worries

  • I want Stephen and Mandy the Sex Worker to perform some twisted run of "Pygmalion."

  • 6:23 , "noooo not at alll" ; that bitch is taking the piss, isnt she?, for fuck sake >.<

  • I've often wondered if stephen fry asking 'what do you think of men like me?' 'do you ever fake it?' 'what if you met THE man?' made the woman think he was trying to chat her up.

  • @ some who reacted to my earlier comment:

Berry pickers can pay for the meat with berries and hunters can pay for the berries with meat, is that 'professional' enough for you?

  • Comment removed

  • 4 times a day too exhausting? Pffffft, lightweight.

  • llol if he was the man he would have to accept that fact...fucking stupid bitch...she should be put in a jair cell to get a rain check.

  • this whore is so stupid. loving her job bla bla. she cant even name her president for sure...

  • "I'm really upsetting your British sensibilities here." Bitch puh-lease.

  • I quite like the girl

  • ay gurl you squirt????!?!??!

  • Dude wtf how can i find a local whore house. Plz Email me salgado90680@yahoo.com

  • I'M GOING TONIGHT ! AND I'M ONLY 15 =D

  • @74dv isnt there an age limit?

  • @74dv

    Tell me about it!

1 in 10 men rip their cocks off while violently masterbating a year!

    ...

That's not what you meant, was it?

  • That bed was fucking huge, but I bet Fry was still too tall for it.

  • Places like this actually do more good than people realize: the repressed male sex drive is a dangerous thing.

  • HAHAHA omg poor Stephen, he's so embarrassed! And yet so compassionate and understanding. Bravo. :) Love this programme.

  • Oh god, viewers are going to think this woman is normal.

  • Isn't this the same brothel that Louis Theroux visited?

  • @orangepeople

It IS isn't it? She explained everything the exact same way and everything. Next British reporter going over is going to guess "dick check" on the first try.

  • id wanna visit haha!!! gimme some bitches

  • It must smell very fishy in that house.

  • Stephen Fry in a brothel! I wonder if they knew he is gay.

  • Brittish people are petrified.. Scared stiff at any thought of being naked or showing yourself in a ... private way, except when very very drunk.

  • @Janusha I think you actually hit the nail on the head there. British people are in no way more or less detached from their sexual impulses than any other people, however there remains years upon years of traditional values which have guided them to be ashamed of such 'perverse' thoughts. Yet when all is said and done, there is still the instinct, and as we all know, the repression of such thoughts can often make them preoccupied with them. Therefore,' scared stiff' is rather accurate. :)

  • @xXTheSock

I lived in the UK for 7 years. Uni and then a very well paid job. We were priviliged and farted about in Ferraris and Lambos and the likes. However there was very little shagging going on. Very little personal contact going on at all. I brought 7 brits with me to a party in the south of sweden. They are very caring, personal, always with eye to eye contact and always hugging, massaging, and stuff. The english were petrified among these swedish beauties and their physical contact.

  • @Janusha Haha, I can imagine. I always get the impression, when I see something like that happen or indeed experience that myself here, there is a wariness of undeserved attention or affection. Almost like not feeling like we have done anything to warrant some lovely Swedish beauty being immediately intimate with us. The notion of happiness without effort being put in is a commonly distrusted feeling here, unless as someone pointed out, a few drinks are involved. :)

  • @xXTheSock

True. I found there was a distinct lack of natural values in UK. People dont have the "great outdoors" where you can go to be away from stress and get a perspective on things. There is no such place to go and do physical stuff with friends which builds confidence in your own abilities from childhood. I find brits inherently insecure. This lack of physical confidence and natural values is often filled in with pills, smoke and such. Which distorts the whole social scene in a way.

  • @Janusha I think 'perverse' is probably the wrong word for how the British view on emotion and sex, a better word I think would be "undignified"

  • @255ad

Not quite sure what you mean. Please explain.

  • @Janusha I'm not sure if I can, it's feeling more then something you can put into words, the best way I can do it is to give you two examples 1 is of an sick old man sitting in his own excrement, 2 is of puritanical Christian who thinks he might be gay, both of these men feel disgusting because of their respective situations but in a diffident ways, I'm suggesting the old English feeling towards open emotion and intimacy is closer to the first man's sense of self disgust then the second

  • I'm not sure how I feel about prostitution. I've always believed that sex is a VERY intimate and personal act between two people and, if possible, only for each other. But....I don't know, there's consent, there's a system, there's payment, there's safety precautions.......what to think....

  • It's so nice to hear of another sex worker who has told their mother about it! I told mine and lord everyone thought I was insane. Imagine if something happened to me at work and she found out that way. Stephen Fry is a little bit wonderful when he's awkward and bumbling!

  • ofcourse he's there for chat....*shhh* (he is actually gay)

  • "some wheeping wart " hahaha

  • why isnt that legal in california? or is it anyone know?

  • @hgtrance i suspect that its because Nevada doesnt have much of a tourism industry, whereas California has a lot. Hence gambling.

  • Why do so many people think an British "Gentlemans" club looks like a cheap german hunting lodge?

Stephen Fry is wonderful in this clip.

    Thanks!

  • lol my uncle used to work there!

  • hahahah "i'm just here for a chat, as it happens"

  • I can't help but find it hilarious how condescending she's being to Stephen. Naturally, she has no idea just who she is speaking to.

  • ha, dick check!

  • That girl at 1:39 sounds ghoulishly like Miley Cyrus.

  • I fucking love being British.

  • @AdamRyanKirkwood I fucking love Britain. Can't wait to go back.

  • @AdamRyanKirkwood

    lucky fuck

  • offending his british sensitivities haha

  • I thought DC = Delivery Confirmation...rofl

  • Sarah

    Sarah Palins a Whore !!!!

  • Not that I totally agree with prostitution but this is definitely the key to controlling drug use. Legalize it, have the government supply it, and you can regulate how much circulates in society, thereby reducing a lot of problems.

  • @shortsandsheep and tax the living shit out of it so you can make some dough off it, lol.

  • @shortsandsheep It's been leagalised here in Australia and it's definately lowered our rates of sex crimes and spread of STD's so agreed for sure

  • You spelled "spelled" wrong too.

  • "Oldest profession in the world." I'm getting so tired of hearing that. I'd think that hunter or berry picker were their way earlier.

  • @barryfreund and the fact that its old doesnt mak it right

  • @barryfreund A profession is an activity that increases the practitioner's power of barter, whether by earning him/her money or trading goods. Hunting for meat to eat is not a profession. Hunting for meat to sell is, and we can be reasonably certain that prostitution was around first. Hell, penguins have prostitution.

  • @barryfreund Yeah, but those aren't really "professions" because you didn't get paid. Performing a service for someone and being compensated (with pretty stones, or meat, or yams, or whatever) probably started with prostitution.

  • @barryfreund Actually they came after, because before the invention of money men needed something else to pay their primitive courtesans.

  • @barryfreund They weren't professions.

  • @barryfreund but those aren't professions..

  • @barryfreund

You're either a complete fool or sarcastic.

  • @barryfreund A profession requires someone to be paid.

  • @barryfreund

Are you sure about that? Why do you think they were picking the berries....payment for pu**y.

  • @barryfreund Who was paying them to do those things?

  • @barryfreund

Right, when people hear the word "prostitution", it triggers "oldest profession in the world" in their minds. I think it's become deterministically Pavlovian over the decades. Because, still the notion of it being the oldest profession in the world is a modern notion.

By all means, legalize it, but not on this fragile basis.

  • @barryfreund You misunderstand the word profession, hunter gatherers obviously existed long before prostitutes but they did not recieve payment (coinage) for their labor. prostitution truly is the oldest profession in the world.

  • @barryfreund

Sex was undoubtedly traded for those berries. That is, unromantically enough, the basis for companionship. I agree that it isn't simply the "oldest profession in the world", but surely it's up there.

  • @barryfreund One of the oldest is more fitting :)

  • @barryfreund no no no! a hunter or a berry picker had to do what they did. there was no exchange of currency. hooking on the other hand...

  • @barryfreund sure but how do you think the women got the meat from the hunter?

  • Having the ladies come out like cattle is the problem. Why not have everyone simply mingle as in a bar? A conversation can be struck with various ladies and eventually a connection can be made.

  • What happened to her hair?

  • @Bonhommehero you absolute prick. That is just horrible and betrays a vast ignorance and omg I am just so angry that someone could THINK that you homophobic ARSE. Not the least annoying thing is that such a tiny comment got me so worked up. I am also annoyed that apart from me, only one person has defended him though to be honest they probably didn't think it worth their notice, which it isn't. Peace. To evry1 except you, who I am angry at. And thank you to the person a couple of comments below

  • @357Snowball The ONLY reason I didn't say anything is that I don't like to feed the trolls. He's not worth the bother of responding. I assure you, he has done nothing what so ever to damage the self esteem of the wonderful, amazing, brilliant and all around lovely Stephen Fry. The world would be richer if there were more like him and is poorer for everyone like Bonhommehero. Blessings.

  • Respond to this video... Ooops, I had been the one who responded to him. LOL I guess I did decide to feed the troll that day. Sorry.

  • @Ryboy1381 But a question, how will monogomous people cancel out those who have multiple partners? That doesnt even make sense.

Not only is it not harmful to have multiple partners, you should be able to look up the stats, the majority of humanity has multple partners in their lifetime.

But which argument applies to a rapist, I dont follow you there. I cant even imagine which argument I made that applies to rapists.

How does it make you cringe just because somebody likes to sleep around?

  • @Ryboy1381 and most people cant even do the moves of kama sutra, lol

Even then, considering that each person is different, and variety is the spice of life, trying out different people to experience the different pleasures of each person is the only way to get the fullest out of your sexual life

Passions die out, you are a minority if they dont after awhile. Good for you though, more power to you. Nobody is saying everybody should sleep around, only that you shouldnt hate others for doign so

  • @Ryboy1381 So hater is overused, whore is overused, we can agree not to use either anymore.

    Thanks.

As to the next line, what? I dont swing that way, so keep your 10' pole away from me, lol

Then you get romantic on me? Sex is better everytime with the same person? lol

Maybe you have such a lucky partner you do a different page of the kama sutra each week, but statistically speaking, its very hard for the same thing to be done for over a decade and not get mundane / monotonous.

  • @Ryboy1381 You could at least look up history before being racist.

It matters first how many were kidnapped and how many were bought, not what percentage of americans did either.

Second, many were POWs, not simple captures in the wild. Its not been unusual for any race to use POWs as slaves or property of another kind.

Learn history before spouting it dangit.

An uneducated racist is even more dangerous than an educated one.

I dont even get your last line.

  • I don't care for the idea of prostitution but this is much safer, healthier and sane way of going about it then the prohibition model.

  • @Ryboy1381 Then you contradict yourse, you find it funny in a bad way (Only reason I can see you using the F-word) when somebody gets mad, but then you say you like it to, but you are also upset that women are standing up to you and embracing whore as a good thing. Sounds like your between a rock and a hard place here

As to africa issue, how does it make the africans look worse that the americans kidnapped many africans illegally. And many western countries look bad in regards historic slavery

  • @Ryboy1381 Ok, your a proud hater who believes women should only live by your rules. And I thought we were getting over the patriarchal society.

Nobody was threatening your freedom of speech, and in fact, I said you can say it all you want, it only makes the word more meaningless.

Its become quite watered down when you can use it for anybody you dont like instead of for its original meaning.

As to getting mad, why shouldnt people get mad when your intent is to insult?

  • @Ryboy1381 Well, its ok to call her a whore if she is one.

If you misuse a label, thats your problem, not hers. I pity your poor language skills.

Its like calling random things gay, its so abused its lost much of its meaning.

The more you use it, the more watered down it becomes.

As for the slave trade, sellers did not always buy their slaves for resale, many were captured illegally.

I dont even get your last lines. Keep trying I guess.

  • @Ryboy1381 Then you have the homosexual line.

Which is absurd and you obviously didnt think it through.

All governments fell at some point in history.

Most of our current systems arent even 200 years old, or are so evolved as to shame the current gens to look back.

Not even UK, as old as it is, has kept from falling a time or 2.

japan accepted homosexuality and definitely did not fall because of that, nor did the various empires within it that fell in time.

  • @Ryboy1381 dang youtube is being so crappy, ok, lets try again

    etymonline . com/index . php ? term = whore

Had to add spaces, take them out of course.

Whore was not always a negative term not that its age is relevent to its adaptability as a positive term.

So you are the one who fails at written history.

Your note about nigger is irrelevent, doesnt counter anything.

Not that all slaves were even POWs anyway, many were caught illegally even in that sense, not sold by other africans.

  • @Ryboy1381 She can be both. they are trying to take the word like homosexuals did the word gay and blacks did the word nigger.

You can only use something against them for so long before they beat you over the head with your own insult.

Not that she hurt you any, so i dont even see the need ot label her at all.

    Whats it to you?

  • "It's a little eye watering" - this from the a guy who has been fucked by a rent boy.

  • i want one of those rooms. i really really do.

  • @FreedomValentine I want one of those chairs, I need to find out what they are called!

  • @paganpixieprincess They are called tantra chairs, hope this helps.

  • @hand2gland You are pure awesomeness my friend. Thank you. Thank you, Thank you.

  • Cheesy decor

  • @IchiCrack Its a brothel, interior design aint the main focal point

  • I am highly insulted by people saying that the brothel owner sounds like Sarah Palin. What a horrible insult to this honest business woman!!!

  • @badsushichef I am highly insulted by people who bash an insignificant ,powerless person like palin just to get thumbs up! how childish and dishonest ! what an insult to us humans trying to get on with the business of improving society!

  • @badsushichef I'm pretty sure Sarah Palin is younger than this woman, so Sarah Palin sounds like her

  • Those are some very luxerious rooms! I think I could really enjoy myself there even without prostitutes!

  • @BonhommeHero I don't believe in hell, but if I did it would certainly have a special place for horrendous, evil, bigots such as yourself. Stephen Fry is a beautiful human being with a heart of gold and a soul to match. If there is a heaven and a hell I assure you, he would be the one looking down on you.

  • "I'm just here for a chat as it happens". Brilliant.

  • Interesting.

  • dick check lol

  • This is a good system, it would really help prostitutes all over the world.

  • The whore sounds like Miley Cyrus :P

  • " You're not getting married - THIS IS A BUSINESS!"

    A documentary. Thanks \

  • This is deeply uplifting. It's truly inspiring to see anyone in America who speaks of Holland as being anything other than a breeding ground for evil "commies". What this woman says about legalizing prostitution also goes for marijuana, gay marriage and virtually every other supposed "evil" that insane, christian, fundamentalists have worked to make dire, desperate and dangerous for innocent human beings. Kudos to Stephen for making this!

  • @ESPSAlita Are you not from the States, or just from the south? 'Cause I know plenty of people that think Holland is awesome. We're not all mental....

  • @TycheTheLlama: Holland is fantastic, well Ive been to Amsterdam twice so I can only speak of the capital. Liberal laws, relaxed environment, pleasant food, clean and crisp albeit strong beer and magnificent waterways and architecture. Truly unique city......says a man from London.

  • Stephen Fry in a whore house. Brilliant!

  • I love the fact that they TOTALLY left out the fact that not only is the WILD Horse (Not crazy horse. lol) a brothel... it's also a deli. XD Not kidding!

  • Comment removed

  • Oh my

  • That's more or less like how it is in New Zealand.

Things are discussed, an agreement is reached on the finer details of the transaction, you are shown to a shower, and you have a good time :)

  • Wow, this seems very well worked out.

  • Now we know why they called it Washington DC!

  • Ii's tiiiime for a DICK CHECK!

  • awesome.

  • That brothel owner sounds exactly like Sarah Palin!!!

  • @flymurdererfly ..Spot on!!..lol

  • damn i'm glad my girlfriend isn't a "buisness women"

  • i wonder if she knew if he is gay

  • She knew, kurama121,

but she was too well mannered to mention it :P

  • lol my aunty used to work there!

  • In biblical times throughout the Mid East worship of the female goddess (Asherah, Ashtoreth etc.) was common and included holy prostitution by all the woman and priestesses. The woman that the Jews took as wives practiced this and boy, the men complained. In modern times it is a way that women can retain economic and sexual independence. Prostitution is political. Men often believe in having a monopoly on procreative and sexual behavior by controlling exclusive access to a woman's vagina.

  • I'm just here for a chat as it happens! Legend.

  • Ah, the oldest profession.

  • @RinEdition more like oldest oppression

  • @shEvoDEevolution ("Stop conflating your cock and your ego") I could always do with a few inches more on both (I love plugging fat chicks). thanks for the consultation on my lack of self esteem, I find hookers cheaper than psychiatrists for that kinda thing (and you were free).

  • @Dr9steen LOOOOL so you had to comment stalk me you creepy MRA piece of shit? Good luck with your "fat chicks" I'm sure that's just a dream as you neither have money or the personality to actually have a chick...let alone pay someone to suck your flaccid little ego..oh ahem...penis :D

  • @shEvoDEevolution And I live in my mummys house, and i wee wee my self in the night, so i sleep in my mummys bed and she reads me storeys about how the ugly duckling gets handsome. u a mean lady bad lady upset baby boy.

  • @Dr9steen you're not very convincing

  • @TherealMrChristophel about what?

  • @Dr9steen about you being 4

  • @TherealMrChristophel i was just fukin with that feminist, they go on like men have to have a chip on their shoulder, a small dick, or no money if we challenge them. my point is if i have a 25 inch dick a privet jet or a clit and a shed, she is a peace of sewage scum ether way.

You dont have to agree, but you did ask.

  • DAMMIT! There's another issue it turns out I'm a Lib about. Man, I have no diversity.

  • Friggin' PLUSH. I wanna go there.

  • The lady who asked if she was offending his British sensibility must not know much about Stephen Fry... XD

  • Prostitution exists in every country and will always exist so why not legallise it and accept it and give these people their human rights!

  • I think she's offending his homosexual sensibilities more than his British sensibilities. Fair enough, eh?

  • This is just so degrading. If you want to have intercourse with a human being, you should learn that you have to deal with all the BS that comes with human interaction and consent - you shouldn't be able to treat womens' bodies like commodities. If you can't handle all the "hassle" that come with dealing with human women, then maybe all you're cut out for is masturbation. It's achieves the same result, so there's no excuse for why it can't suffice..but men always think they're entitled to more.

  • However, I do appreciate that the lady who runs the place is trying to create a safer environment...I just think the practice as a whole should not be sanctioned by the government. IMO, the moral implications of what it means to legalize the commodification of women's bodies are just too troubling, no matter how "inevitable" it is that men continue to see women as sexual objects. But I realize that some men can't really understand this issue from a woman's point of view.

  • @GreenGretel is not only women if by any change goes legal man's body too, but is moral issue , and you can have your opinion about but thats it you are not the one in the middle of the bussnise trans. is her or him and they dicide w they want to do, the best thing is legalize prost. so you can control every aspect and not risk the people who are going to keep working on this becouse they will there is no way to stop it.

  • you pay to go to bars/clubs, buy girls over-priced drinks, invite them to dinner, tolerate their bullshits, so that you may end up in bed with her sometime. why not respect yourself, save your time and money, pay and sleep with a much hotter girl instead of that average b**** , if you are after sex.

The only exception I can see is when you really like a girl.

  • @supernova58 You might be a sexist pig, in that case, you deserve the stupid cows you ended up with. But you might just have been unlucky ; believe me when I say that women are not a different specie that you need to tame. I myself hate it when a guy insists on paying for everything, it makes me feel so in debt, and I know he is waiting for something. I do not want a guy to feel that the only way I'll get into his good graces / bed is by buying me things.

  • @math581 Before discussing such topics go learn to stop judging people you know nothing about. Your comment does not change the reality that is out there, not matter we like it or not. So let's be honest about ourselves. The whole dating thing is all about marketing your best features. Anyway back to topic of video, apparently haven't even read/understood my comment correctly. My point is:

  • @supernova58 ...My point is if you as a guy go to clubs, pay entrance fees, buy over priced drinks (for yourself or a girl),date, dinner,. times and times again to get to have sex with a girl, you are paying many many times more the price for an even very lower quality thing/service,.. !!! Not to mention all the time, energy spent on this and tolerating the bullshits from her you never like.

  • Is prostitution in itself bad as in ethically objectionable? If it is/isn't...why is/isn't it? Why is it portrayed as being wrong and dirty? Even sex (without exchange of money) is seen as a shameful sort of thing that should be kept really hushed up a lot of the time. I really do want to know, so could people please answer? Just your views and opinions and the like.

  • @Mattoxicator That's quite a question, and the answer will vary depending on who you ask. Commonly people disapprove of prostitution because they feel it is degrading to sell your body for sex. Often women involved in this industry are drug addicts or forced into prostitution by gangs or poverty.

  • Every city should have places like this!

  • Society's views have changed so much over the past, due to fundamentalism and feminism in general. Courtesans on old were high class and regarded as very important figures, now when you say that word, people just think dirty hooker.

  • Forty years ago there were brothels all over the place. The autorities looked the other way because it kept girls off the streets and out of the river. Then you had the Woman's Movement, AIDS, and Republicans for Jesus.

  • @kyfunster Does that mean the river is full of girls now? :-)

  • I was watching Fry in America on PBS, and they somehow cut this part out. thanks for putting it up.
