@MrGunnyboddy Well sadly, what the Habs did was revert back to the pre-lockout mentality of simply playing the trap. After the lock out, the league wanted to make the game more exciting for the fans by opening up more offense.

Now the trend will be back to the boring 0-1 and 2-1 trap style of play because it's successful.

The Habs deserve credit for being successful of course, but I fear the entire game will suffer as a result.
