Peri was soooo hot! Kinda like a Sandra Bullock face on a busty body! Too bad she was a HORRIBLE actress! She sucked so bad, it almost ruined looking at ther cleavage. Almost.  Her method of acting was to stutter start her sentences as if that showed she was thinking of what she was saying. But so often? ARRRGHHH! And her American accent was just crap. Still, she was in a couple of great episodes (Caves Of Androzani and Attack Of The Cybermen) and tolerable in them. Love those hoo haws!

That uncommon camera angle of Peri getting off the boat, doesn't seem like a standard Dr Who framed scene shot, and the smile was a bit out of character for someone about to go into the water who can't swim. You'd think the poor girl would be terrified. I'm sure that the BBC Studio Executives examined that footage thoroughly before authorizing its inclusion, still I believe it should require further investigation.

Karen Gillan by far is the hottest companion ever in Doctor Who history. In fact i would go as far as to say that she might be the most beautiful woman in the world. Her fiery red hair, scottish accent and the fact that she is not slathered with makeup like so many actresses makes her a true natural beauty. I challenge anyone to prove me wrong.

This is an example of Classic Who in its declining years, desperately trying the same tricks as other contemporary TV shows to increase ratings.

Who's greatest ratings came when it dared to be different, and pushed the envelope.

I did say this wasn't a great moment, but to be fair Planet of Fire and especially Caves of Androzani were very good stories. The real decline really didn't set in until Colin Baker took over. But I do agree that the series has never been the same since the mid/late 70s.
