the reason that happened is because you are pulling all the air out of the room and its drying out, one of many of ur issues. pull air from outside the room, ALWAYS leave the air in the flower room and buy co2 :)

fluxuations of ph is GOOD for the plant,... some nutrients are obsorbed better at different ph levels, So as the plants ''eats'' the ph will rise some and thats good, some people are so set on keeping the ph at 5.5-5.6, all the time , in dwc, you dont!!, so if you start your plant out on sunday with fresh nutes, threw the week the ph rises as you add back fresh water, so by fri of sat its time to change out your rez, ie '' bucket'' and start over,, hope that helps, my spelling sux i know,; )

ya thats a PH issue. I had the same problem when i did DWC the first time. Something is probably growing on the inside of your bucket and its spiking the PH all over the place.

a human can breath 0.039 % carbon oxide or 390 ppm a cannabis plant can take up to 0.3 % this is like a booster , you will have to adjust the nutritients but thats learning by doing , you will have to pay your learning money ( german saying) . then there could be several issues with the roots ( remember they are uncovered) imagine running around with everything but your pants and underwear , ya ya , i know , come on ..i am not of that kind ....

several options for this catastrophy : PH over or under 5 (toler. level is 4.5 to 5.5. but i doubt that you have this range in hydro or aerosys. thts for soil ) EC has to be at 1 when flowering you can go upt to 1.5. or even 2 but not more and in the gorw period even under 0.5 . water temp in celsius degree 18 not 19 not 17 , i mean 18 degree constantly and controlled . then you can push up the carbonoxide up to 0.3% (beware you are dead at that level so take care to keep your grow room tight)

I always admire cannabis growers, its scientific in a way, your all like little scientists. So much effort, time and money going into a 'project' just to see it die in this way is sad, just like them females that go hermie on ya :(, its just a dam shame everybody can't grow cannabis everywhere, it our human right to!.

light gets into the grey buckets, I kept fighting brown algae with them for a while. I stick to mostly a coco and soil blend, allows for good nutrient and oxygen uptake. I rigged a drip system with an electronic intermatic timer and it keeps the soil moist. I mix a weak sauce for the plants when I go out of town and have successfully made it a week without tending to them, thats why i go soil, low maintenance. no 1 likes a high maintenance chick

My theory is; because the (scrog) was bolted to the Bucket., when you turn the Plant, you also... Turn the Roots. Did you Rip the Roots as you turned it?
