preformise dog food but a lot of table food ,he loved pizza and he wasn't that active ,we would go for walks but thats it ,i think he lived for so long because of LOVE...

@1973boo he lived for 15 years?!! yall must of took excellent care of him in order for him too live that long especially for a large breed dog, I know some smaller dogs that didnt even live that long, what did yall feed him and how active was he? when did he start to slow down?

We had a Neo and a dobie and a retriever - and they all got along great. Of course the Neo was heavier, larger, had a huge bark - but they all got along and had a great time together. The Neo was dominat but never had any true fights, he was raised to be a good dog with humans and other dogs and thats how he was - the same can be said for Canes. I hate how some just call them 'guard dogs' or 'fight dogs' - they aren't.

We also have a frenchie and a cane corso. They are best friends, our corso Romulus knows he could tear up his buddy but let's Bodi, the frenchie run things. Strangers and other things are different though, Romulus is a very good guard dog. Wouldn't want to be on the receiving end if you break in.

I wanted Frenchies to scale down from bullmastiffs. Husband calls from Iraq and begs for a Cane Corso. Couldn't say no. Now I can show him this, and beg for BOTH! Thx!

i like how all the people are so concerned on what dog will beat another dog its retarded my cane is gentle with all dogs and kids if another dog nips hell put up with it for awhile then assert as for people there very aloof n untrusting towrds strangers and anyone who thinks canes arent good watch dogs are welcome to come to my house when im not home and meet mine ill have a mop ready to clean up lol there great dogs if you raise n socialize them well

i have a Q... are corsos good guard dogs? and do they shed alot and would u keep them out or indoors?

@omibeast They are excellent guard dogs, they have a low maintenance coat which is short and dense and yes they do shed just like every other dog only that hairs are short so it's probably easier to hoover up. So I recommend keeping the Corso indoors.

corso have so elastic psychic, you can see that almost in that dogs eyes, so gentle but can be agressive if situation need him to be... Next few years I will get one...
