Macprovideo released their "Dubstep Essentials" tutorial series a few weeks ago. Although it's a fantastic series and would recommend it to everyone, I couldn't help noticing that their tutorial on "Talking bass in NI Razor" is pretty much EXACTLY the same as this (although obviously better explained). You know your doing something right when the big boys start copying it haha.

@trompefy hey im almost positive you can use XP with razor. The thing you gotta do for razor to work is buy reaktor 5 or use the free version like I do. you can download all of those at the Native Instruments website. hope this helped!

Hey there, great vids. I'm wondering if you (or anyone out there) has downloaded the free Reaktor player for this, to use in Windows XP? (i've already emailed NI, and they said they're not sure, as it was designed in and for windows 7). THEN, i'll either buy or rip the Razor, and try it out ( i personally would eventually buy it if i like it).

hey man click on the soundflower icon in your finder, it should open at the top of your screen somewhere by the clock. click on the flower icon at the top of the screen and then change it to built out audio. you should be able to hear everything.

I have Razor...I can't get it to work into Fruity loops 9 XXL. I have the basic free reaktor to download from the Native Instruments site.....I can't get it into FL9. I got Razor into Reaktor without FL9 but then the sound wouldn't work. Please message me if you can give me some advice and help.

So the more random phases on partials the more blurry the sound.

The random dial randomised the partials and kinda blurs that sound making it a bit more gritty and messy :) only recently worked it out too! Thanks for the tutorial
