I seriously hate IS being referred to in terms of "stops". So Mr. Shakey Hands is going to get the same amount of stops reduces as Mr. Still Hands? I don't think so... where do they come up this this shit?

@00sven00sven00 Yes it will. Canon crop bodies "rebel" series will accept EF and EFS lenses. I have this on a 550D and its fantastic although some would note about it being unbalanced. I tend to hold the lens more and its just fine. Always when upgrading glass>body. 550 is a fantastic camera. Note on a crop body you are getting an equivalent of 112mm-320mm reach.

@romanben If you're one of the people who looks and is great at catching the perfect moment, you don't need things like a 7D, 50D, or 1D.. It's the lens that ends up giving the better quality. (for those who don't know) There is a video on DigitalRevTV that shows the results of entry-level camera + Pro lens and its opposite. :) I'm hoping to get this on my 60D Soon

@sirtechy The 70-200 is much better for lower light and blurring the background. You could also say that it has sharper images and faster focusing overall.

Not really comparable to Digital Rev, but I enjoyed this video. Either the photography isn't great, or you need to change the bezier on your video and brighten up lots of your shots.
