@MarcosElf .when 17 yrs old a friend and I went to another friend we suposed to go to a party together, we were ready to go when the energy when off, My friend and I walked outside and sudenly all was brigth like a day ligth, I turn my head up and there was a cylindrical space ship with colorful ligths spining around. I turn to my friend to tell him, but then our friend door was closed and he was sleeping already ?!. my friend don't remember anything and the other one say we got lost for 4 hrs.

I saw two cylindrical ufos as a child in sonora. One was in sonora on greenley before they developed it. and one was in jamestown. Where was this one taken?

if real, i believe we are seeing an ice formation, like cotton candy formed by static in the cloud. the vapor freezes and gets bigger, like hail, and then gets stuck in an updraft. it blows, hovers, and changes direction, then melts and vanishes. most of these daylight disks ocurr near high mountains, like a lense cloud but smaller, and frozen. just a hypothesis i saw 5 objects in Oregon that behaved the same way and then poofed away. they were like shiny bags blowing around in the sky.

Mark, I am the person from Lake Tahoe who talked to you a couple years ago. I miss your amazing website, it was the best of it's kind I've ever seen. You had the best GENUINE footage I've seen anywhere. I hope you're doing OK. I'm only 90 air miles from you, and we had a WILD couple of years here- Lake Tahoe was WILD in 2007-2008. We were seeing all kinds of UFOs almost nightly. Nothing since the end of 2008 at all. Don't know why! I'd love a chance to talk to you again.

end of the day, it's a solid object defying gravity and hovering in mid air with no apparent means of propulsion, it's obviously real and we never get a real explanation from the people who are suppose to tell us what these things are which suggests it's either their's, or they know who they belong to,i'd urge any american, if they see one of these things, shoot it and see what happens, if you can catch it you'll be set for life,i'd do it but guns aint legal in the uk!

One of the strangest things ive witnessed was a similar white cylinder like object that just hovered in the air miles above and didnt move. You could tell it wasnt something in space, like a moon, but it was higher than what average planes get, and pretty big too. It was like a tube that that pointed straight down but just stuck there and it had like i little bit coming off it like a twig at the top that branched out to the right but a quarter way down it, like some antenna. It vanished.. weird.

Amazing to have captured this on film. These things seem to come in a variety of shapes... disc, ball, cigar and cylinder. Myself & six others watched one in the night sky back in the summer of 1971. Could not tell the shape, just a light in the night sky. Performed some amazing stunts and at times moved at blazing speed. Watched it for 20 minutes before it got out of range and disappeared. They do exist, no question about it.

I saw one of these once. I too thought it was a balloon. But it was shaped like a cane, and it stayed stationary for over an hour, rotating on its axis once per minute. A balloon simply cannot do that.

I saw a similar object Apr 9th 2010 at @ 7:00 pm San Joaquin Valley CA; I believe to be a high altitude balloon as well. The question is from what agency (ie NOAA, NASA, etc.). I can find no references of any kind documenting super large high atmsophere balloons that are cylindrical. All I can find are spherical (typical) weather balloons. I have several still shot pics but no video. Any experts on balloons with explanations would be great.

You do realize that is separate objects so close to one another they appear as one, not to mention they happen to be on their side as well.

@joebuds99 yes you are right. I have seen one too and got it on video as well. My footage is much closer and you can see sky in the middle of the two objects. The bigger long cigar shape part is in front and the back has a smaller curved part and mine was flying at a real fast clip. You can see trees and branches for comparison.

Come on guys, thats a specific type of a weather balloon. I don't know the english term, but we MAKE those at the university. It measures the exact atmospheric composition among other things. It can go up several miles, hence the airplane incident. Should not happen though...must have been a lost one

Interesting. Thanks. Don't know if it would be possible, but if you see another one it would be good if the footage included a zoom back and a pan down to see your surroundings before panning back up and zooming in on the object. Gives helpful interprative context. I know its not always easy filming a small object in teh sky though.

Your suggestion is sound, however, the object was directly overhead and there were no "surroundings" except clear blue sky. If it were lower, I would have been able to get the trees and the mountain, but no luck. It was straight up.

Thanks for your reply. Understand you would've had to pan down such that the object was out of frame for a bit, but you would've been surrounded by something even if it wasn't near the object. It "establishes" your surroundings, and then pan back up to the object. As I say, understand its not easy. Perhaps in this case it would've made it hard for you to find the object again. Just suggesting if it were possible, it helps interpret things such as distance and angle to the ground. cheers

I seen a cylindrical flying object once over the Aluetian Islands, while flying back from the Orient.

It buzzed the 777 I was flying on. I tried to get a video of it. I reached for the camera...blinked...and it was gone.

I cried when I saw this video. I desperately want to know if we are alone, or not, in the universe.

To see this thing in person, really blows the mind.

i have video of one of these things too. it was like a cross btwn a rocket and a plane, but in the middle of the craft-there were no wings- but something sort of.. spinning (??)- once we saw it with a trail behind it, once without. both times in Fremont, California.
