  • I have trouble deciding which indoor stadium would be a better place to watch basketball: Cameron Indoor or Allen Fieldhouse (Kansas University.) The two best arenas in college basketball for the two best teams. I read online that ESPN named Allen Fieldhouse the loudest and hardest place to win in the country, while it named the Duke student section being the "craziest" (with Kansas being #2.)

  • @percyjacksonization The Answer: ALLEN FIELDHOUSE.

  • @Austinku25 Hmmm... I think I must agree with you on this point ^_^. I've always wanted to watch a basketball game at Allen Fieldhouse. Even though the Duke Crazies are very loud, the size of Cameron is too small compared to the capacity of Allen. I can't even being to imagine the energy produced inside Kansas whenever the Jayhawks play basketball at home!

  • @percyjacksonization Haha I'm suprised you agreed! I still remember my first game. it was against Michigan and it was a total blowout, but the crowd was still crazy, and you should look up the new pregame videos they show on the big screen! They are intense, and they get the crowd going,

  • @Austinku25 Haha I watched them! Very good videos! KU has such great tradition in college basketball. It's been a school I've always wanted to go to. Unfortunately, out of state tuition is too high. I'm thinking about applying there as a transfer for the spring 2012 semester (although they don't give scholarships for spring transfers :/... which will make things financially more difficult, IF I decide to do so.) I also love the "Dream On" video they had at Late Night at the Phog this year.

  • Its funny.

UNC was the champion that year

  • They remind me of burger king lol

  • I like ku's better

  • OUT OF TOURNY !

  • HAHA ARIZONA!!!

  • imagine that coming at you on three sides for 40 minutes

    now youre playing in cameron

  • Can't lie, I hate Duke, but I'd kill to be a part of that student section...

  • @BrenMcCloud It's exhausting but a whole lot of fun :)

  • maryland fans > duke fans

  • @chewman1991

*looks* pfft haha ok *pats* it's ok, keep thinking that

  • @chewman1991 pshtt mann you got that ALL wrong!

    CAMERON CRAZIES > maryland fans

  • i go to duke and trust me we know about bball

    been to every game

    GO DUKE! :)

  • @Helicio you are soooooo lucky!! im determined to go to Duke and ive still got till 2015 till i graduate. AND im going to go to EVERY basketball game (:

  • @Helicio OH EM GEE HAVE YOU MET ANY OF THE PLAYERS ON THE TEAM? :D

  • @kaiandbai My dad knows Kyrie Irving's dad

  • @Helicio you are so lucky! ive only been to one Duke game and it was my first college basketball game, and a NCAA tourney game, and it was a Duke game. im a die hard Duke fan. i want to go to college there and go to every single game i can possibly go to. i decided in like the 6th grade that i was going to Duke. i about died when i heard that they were playing in the ncaa tourney in my hometown and my parents surprised me with tickets (:

  • Yea thaddeus ur retarded... So I mean being the #1 student section/toughest place to play year in and year out-Duke fans are dumb. How about when the whole stadium erupted when they knew exactly how many points JJ Redick needed to get his record? Or maybe when they always have a chant or putdown for an opposing teams specific player? The list goes on- shut ur mouth. Go Duke- Cameron Crazies #1

  • @supramw867

ESPN named the loudest arenas in the nation.

    1. Allen Fieldhouse 2. Cameron Indoor Stadium 3. Rupp Arena

  • @fol2005 Both those stadiums also are twice as big as Cameron. Cameron is good cuz of its small, packed in format and the dedicated students. Those other places are awesome too though. I wanna be able to see a game at all of those places by the time I die.

  • @paulisawesome3

Allen Fieldhouse is not much bigger than Cameron. The reason Allen Fieldhouse has a high capacity is because the entire stadium is bleachers all the way to the top. Parents in general admission have to stand and turn sideways the entire time.

The people on the sidelines knees touch the back of the announcers chairs.

  • @fol2005 Oh. I had thought Allen was way bigger and always full, thus contributing to its loudness. Sounds a lot like Cameron in that sense now. Now I definately want to see a game there.

  • @supramw867 You have sheets passed out to your student section before games telling you what records are on the line or what personal situations opposing players are going through. That requires two grad students looking up wikipedia info the night before and one good copy machine, not a legion of knowledgeable fans replicating the knowledge of an ESPN archivist. Face it, 9/10ths of your fanbase realized they were Duke fans after the first 3 titles. That's not fandom; that's wagon hopping.

  • wat do you know did you go to duke and ask them ur a douche bra

  • Man you are ONE STUPID MOTHER FUCKER if you really mean that.

  • @ThaddeusMarcum you are a f***ing idiot. you must know nothing about the game to say that Duke fans are posers and know nothing. the Cameron Crazies are THE BEST sports fans in the entireee world.

  • @MrsPattinson897 That's what the media has been telling you, but it's far from true. Quick quiz: what teams were in the 1997 Final Four? What about 1986? 1975? Many fans of other fanbases would be able to tell you right off the bat Kentucky especially. They know their sport outside of their own program. To a large degree, that cannot be said for Duke fans. You guys treat the game like dinner theatre. You're performers, but knowledgeable about the game you most certainly are not.

  • @ThaddeusMarcum i wasnt born till august of 1997 so i wouldnt know who was in the final four in 1997 1986 or 1975. so you can just shut up. cameron crazies ARE the NUMBER ONE fans. we arent performers, and yes we are knowledgeable about the game. ive seen Duke basketball games and i know that they are AMAZING

  • I LOVE DUKE

  • WHY NOT DUKE!
