I think this is the first KCSB video I've ever seen where I can actually hear what KC is playing on the keyboards. Here I thought he was faking it the whole time!
To abc1000001: Was your comment a joke or you just make things up like a Seinfeld episode on the original title of War and Peace? LOL I called George in Aruba, it's Rock Your Baby. :-) LOL
I seen KC this year I enjoyed it so much I would love to see them again they are my favorite band I am very lucky I got to see them and get his autograph.
A very nice imitation from George McCrae's original hit. But I like the original version from McCrae much better. A nice try from KC and The Sunshine Band.
KC wrote this song but when he tried to perform it, it didn't sound the way he wanted it to and thought it would be perfect for George McCrae would be perfect for it. And it was.
besides this incredibly talented line up, and the unbelievable groove to this tune, the bets thing about a KC show was the chicks. snuck into a show in the70's when i was 14 - 15 cause my cousin was a doorman, and saw the most beautiful, long legged, platform wearing, bust exposing, silk wearing women of my life! One babe looked at me like I was an ice cream cone, and i've never forgotten her, this band, or that moment. so cool.
@beroth77 You know what. I never fight but... internet is really a ... mmm... garbage hole. So why not to coarse? Who gives a shit))) So forget it. It is a good chance to reduce the stress and so. Who cannot stand it... well, stay off. If you do not want to jump, stay off the drop zone, right? So for me it is not series this hole called inter-shit-hole-net

@abc1000001 You're wrong. As chuckwagen points out. Besides, if the song title really was "Rock You Baby," it would have to be "Rock You, Baby" in order to make grammatical sense.
K.C. is smiling throughout the song because he's thinking about all the cocaine he will be doing after the concert. Give me a, "What you talkin' 'bout, Willis?" if you agree.
check out those coooool dudes...man you will never see a group like this today, up on the stage sweating their ass off, so called stars today never sweat
Fantastic!!!! even do I am not from USA I really love and appreciate this kind of music.......Besides he looks so happy and a nice human being Just like the L A POLICE or the mexican police too.
KC talent is boundless - we all know the George McCrae hit but not all realise KC was the man who wrote it. My 14 year old son is a trumpet player and it's bands like KC that keeps him going with the practicing for his grades. Great song.
Beautiful, when music had rhythm. (Jezz I remember my parents saying the same to me when they listened to songs like Glenn Millers "Chattanooga Choo Choo" from the 1940's)
@tarzan694 This was never a hit for KC and the sunshine band, although they have performed the track. It was written by Harry Wayne Casey (KC) for George McCrae. He also wrote a number of hits for other artist in his early years.

Hey CRJADED----YOU ROCK, MAN! He is the absolute baddass white boy! This guy has soul all through his veins. And not only did he perform these kick ass songs, he effin' wrote them!!!
In my book, the baddest white boys in R&B/Soul music are 1) Harry Wayne Casey, 2) Rod Temperton (of Heatwave and writer of Michael Jackson's best songs, and 3) Daryl Hall.
I shared this video with my 12 year old. i told him, 'you hear the heavy heavy horns?' He answers, 'yeah mom, but i play the trumpet and they don't weigh that much...' fantastic memories...

i love kc and the sunshine band. i've been a fan sense i was 14 and that was in the 80's. i had a crush on kc.....i thought he was so cute even when he gained weight he was so cute. i wish someone would bring back disco because disco rules and who ever said it sucks hated it. BRING BACK DISCO, BRING BACK DISCO!
