War chants have been around for centuries in one form or another. It is the post battle haka of the victor that counts, He is the only one standing! As for the All Blacks I think there is more Pacific Islanders (Samoans, Tongans n Fijians) than what there is Maoris in the side!

It was written as an alternative haka for the AB's to perform on special occasions.....You sure your from NZ?

not good!! this is a Haka created BY the All Blacks FOR the All Blacks! the reason why they created Kapa O pango is that Ka mate Ka mate ( also created for the All Blacks ) was being used by so many people & teams the tradition of the All Black Haka was becoming lost, the All Blacks are like a tribe representing New Zealand rugby & culture. Traditionally no other team , culture or person should perform these Haka. it's great they have there own Ha'a now! I hope no one else uses what is theirs.

War chants have been around for centuries in one form or another. It is the post battle haka of the victor that counts, He is the only one standing! As for the All Blacks I think there is more Pacific Islanders (Samoans, Tongans n Fijians) than what there is Maoris in the side!
Maoris should embrace that UH and others emulate a great tradition! Maybe we should take away the guitar from kapa haka groups as they are not a traditional instrument?

im new zealand born and raised, educated at one of the top maori schools in the country where haka was a bid part of it, and by the way im also nga puhi. This haka isnt like kapa o pango it IS kapa o pango, which is copy righted for the all blacks.
