I think the ref did great. Frausto's knee didn't send Sexton to the mat but it was actually a push that sent Sexton to the mat. Subsequently, the first punch missed and the second connected. Then the ref stopped it immediately.
Now i can start being a fan of a real woman fighter who actually ends fights! By the way i think she was the first chick i've seen knock another broad out!

Sexton seemed to run head first into the cage after Frausto side stepped. Her head bounces off the cage; she seemed confused and in pain by the way she raised her hands to her forehead taking a step back, staggers to the right, then drops her hands/guard just in time for the knee. I'd say she got rocked by the cage, pros don't make mistakes like that. It just didn't make since for her to drop hands and stop the knee with her face.

gutted for Rosi - she's a great fighter but she needs to polish up her striking and striking defence -her stand-up looks really sloppy at times. Hopefully she'll come back stronger like she did after the fight with Carano
@Trawn666 I highly doubt she weighed the same the next day fully hydrated. Zoila has a great weight cutting routine. It's like saying GSP was 170 when he fought a 167 BJ. Weigh-in weights aren't what they actually weigh on fight night brother. I know because I've cut weight many times for grappling and wrestling tournaments. I weight 200 and compete at 185.
Zoila Frausto is THE TRUTH. Easily one of the most athletic and striking-proficient fighters in all of women's MMA. Almost like a mini-Christiane-Cyborg, except much better looking.
Such a poor stoppage. The ref should have stopped it when he saw her fall back with her leg under her and bounce her head off the floor. Zoila got in some devastating, yet unnecessary blows. Maybe the ref didn't want to leap on her to avoid an awkward boob graze.
It was not a late stoppage. That is how MMA works. You have to give her a chance to pull guard, or do something. A seemingly flash KO isn't always what it seems, these are professional fighters, they aren't doing this to not get hurt.
What is screwed up? The Bellator 115 lb woman's tourny coming up with have Sexton, but not Zoila.

this isnt the worst stoppage when it comes to the ref being late but it should have been stopped a punch or 2 before it was stopped.

I don't watch "fishing" on tv because I think it's retarded how many poor fishies have to die all for the fun of competition. and to make matters worse, they dispplay their dead fish proudly as they get their rewards. I think everyone that fishes and watches fishing on tv is stupid.

Sexton seemed to run head first into the cage after Frausto side stepped. Her head bounces off the cage; she seemed confused and in pain by the way she raised her hands to her forehead taking a step back, staggers to the right, then drops her hands/guard just in time for the knee. I'd say she got rocked by the cage, pros don't make mistakes like that. It just didn't make since for her to drop hands and stop the knee with her face.

@Trawn666 I highly doubt she weighed the same the next day fully hydrated. Zoila has a great weight cutting routine. It's like saying GSP was 170 when he fought a 167 BJ. Weigh-in weights aren't what they actually weigh on fight night brother. I know because I've cut weight many times for grappling and wrestling tournaments. I weight 200 and compete at 185.

Such a poor stoppage. The ref should have stopped it when he saw her fall back with her leg under her and bounce her head off the floor. Zoila got in some devastating, yet unnecessary blows. Maybe the ref didn't want to leap on her to avoid an awkward boob graze.

It was not a late stoppage. That is how MMA works. You have to give her a chance to pull guard, or do something. A seemingly flash KO isn't always what it seems, these are professional fighters, they aren't doing this to not get hurt.
What is screwed up? The Bellator 115 lb woman's tourny coming up with have Sexton, but not Zoila.

@abchowchow i kindaaaa dissagree. personally if shes flat on her back with arms to the side and has no reaction after the first punch, it should be stopped.
this isnt the worst stoppage when it comes to the ref being late but it should have been stopped a punch or 2 before it was stopped.
