  • Sorry guys. The song is not Greek. No it is not Turkish, either. I was born in Syria. We used to listen and sing this song in Arabic in 1970s. Indeed, the chorus "ya lelli, ya lelli" is Arabic language.

  • @KevKli3 My parents used to sing this song when they were young teenagers, long time before the 70s. The word ya lelli may be Arabic!
