what a beautiful falsetto. These songs are not the best from Kamelot (IMO) but his voice is without a doubt at it's best with The Fourth Legacy and Karma. I should clarify. I think this album shows a little bit of immaturity but it still kicks the shit out of many other bands. i do love it. just not as much as Epica/The Black Halo/Ghost Opera bonus tracks
Years ago the first song from Kamelot I´ve heard... still my favourite... for me it´s a classic among many, many songs even from more known bands. Great job was done...
4:27-4:38 = Pure Sex for every musicians ears, if anyone knows where to get more of that stuff, i´d be thankfull. Best Instrumental stuff ever since then :)
@horrorfestlover you must have misunderstood me. what im saying is they sound like they are still living the 80's. and im not kidding man. =P not saying its really a bad thing, just was saying.
@InvizableMunkee I understand but I still think you should research more about Kamelot before you comment because they are really 90s power metal. Didn't mean to be rude.
@InvizableMunkee What's wrong with 80's metal trying to come back? The 80's only gave birth to the greatest band ever (Iron Maiden). I'm just glad these guys are carrying on that legacy. Not only that they sound awesome and have a truly incredible vocalist in Roy Khan. If nothing else, I think everyone can agree that this guy needs to record 8 million albums before he dies cause there aren't enough vocalists who are that good.
@GrimaceDio The thing is, Kamelot isn't necessarily 80s coming back. If you've heard The Fourth Legacy album all the way through, you can tell that they sound medieval, like he song The Shadow Of Uther, Desert Reign, and Nights Of Arabia. You would be right on Kamelot carrying on the legacy of the amazing band Iron Maiden because Thomas Youngblood, the guitarist of Kamelot said on an interview that Iron Maiden's guitarist is one of his inspirations as well as Brian May from Queen too.
@horrorfestlover Actually I own every album and I'm still kicking myself for not seeing them live before Khan's departure. I had tickets to go and meet them last year but Roy got sick..damn. anyway, I know they have a medieval sound but overall power metal does have a lot in common with 80's bands like Europe, Queensryche, Scorpions, and Iron Maiden. Roy Khan even cited Geoff Tate as his biggest inspiration. I just don't think it's a bad thing. Why should we apologize for liking good music?
@GrimaceDio It's not a bad thing and I never said you need to apologize. Yes, your right about power metal having a lot in common with Iron Maiden and Queensryche. In my opinion, I think Kamelot is a lot more original than Edguy or Avantasia, that's why I said they don't sound a lot like 80s coming back because in my opinion, Avantasia or Edguy are just copying AC/DC and other 80s bands when Kamelot is not as generic or trying to sound similar to other 80s bands.
I don't know if it's an age thing, but even though I love Kamelot some of the old classic songs don't strike me as hard as they used to. This song has managed to survive however. It doesn't feel cheesy or over-the-top at all. Just very melancholic and beautiful. Brilliant!
Excellent piece of work!! Thank you very much for Sharing!!!!!
What a way of meeting people and get to see their talent. At first was reluctant being on youtube, but getting to do this has brought me into the houses of some very special people. You are one of them. Life; isn't it wonderful!!! Keep up the good work. Hope You Are Having A Splendid Day!!!!
Well, yeah, a lyric with simple meaning, in my opinion, it means we all have something important to do, the point is, what that is, the search for our task
I consider "The Fourth Legacy" to be my favourite Kamelot's album. For me, there is no a weak song on it. :) And yeah, thanks for uploading this DarkOne12341

@InvizableMunkee: Just because you can't tell the difference between 80's rock and 90's power metal doesn't mean you're a faggot.
Don't worry.
It'll be okay.
