The bill requires a reduction in emissions, it does not require a "hike in energy cost".  PG&E is one of the largest, and cleanest energy provider in the Country, yet our electricity is still affordable. Want to cut on your energy costs? Consume less, its common sense. We've been doing it for years in California, maybe that is why we're one of the most efficient states.

Juan it may require a reduction in emissions but it WILL result in the 2000 dollar tax increase per household if you do your research. Most of us don't have an extra $2000 laying around in this economy...
