  • It didn't get shut down. We discovered a shitload of asbestos in the building and Vinnie did nothin about it.

  • That's my dad who reopened it.

  • Then go see "buzzards bay theater demolished" video from this November if you want to know how it all worked out for Mr Avery.

"A" for effort, but in the end, $165,000 dollars wasted on a pipe dream.

  • Wow, you're right. I bet your small business venture worked out so much better, right.

  • @vegettopotato

Are you directing some animosity at me?

If so, I wasn't STUPID enough to think that reopening that shithole would work!

Loews with all their money abandoned it a decade prior, when people ACTUALLY still went to see movies.

I recall this guy buying a used popcorn maker and some wall cabinets at Ikea for the lobby and felt SORRY for this poor bastard.

He was doomed from the very start.

PS...my personal business is in its 26th year, thank you. Its called planning.

  • @pressrolls hahaha owned. they opened that place back up for like maybe a year or so and got shut back down. waste of space. but convenient when you wanna see a movie close by

  • thats beautiful
