To be honest, first time I was watching the cutscenes when the game first came out I thought she was a boy, but just gender confused since the only male influence was Otacon, not the best idea of masculinity (And to a lesser extent, Snake)

....hmm...how anyone could confuse sunny with a boy is beyond me, she looks, talks, and behaves like a girl (I mean if you somehow needed extra proof how many boys wear pink-striped candy cane stockings and frilly aprons?)

Beats me. But still thought she was a boy until the start of the second act. I'm know sure why, maybe because Sonny is more of a boy name then it is a girls and this lead me to believe it was just a confused little boy. But like I said, I learned

@AlteredGuy555 Add (0) and 1, you get 1. 1+1=2; 1+2=3; 2+3=5; 3+5=8; 5+8=13; 8+13=21; 13+21=34; 21+34=55; 34+55=89; 55+89=144. Fibonacci sequence, adding the last two numbers to get the next.

I think the first briefing was Pi (it's endless but I've seen a poster with the first 100 numbers of it :P).

I'm not sure about what she is chanting in the second act.

I could be mistaken, but in one of the later cutscenes, it's said, supposedly it's binary code of some sort, but again, I could be mistaken.

binary is composed of only two digits 0 and 1, thus BI-nary bi meaning two.  It could be like hexadecimal though?
