Why would Michael Haneke repeat himself in regards to the subject matter of his pictures, in the most definite sense - making a shot-by-shot remake of his ORIGINAL 1997 picture.

@JesusCristo2002 Its beacuse this is not a movie but an experiment, the audience being the lab rats, Ignore those people who try to make sense out of this movie, this was ciolence and torture and Haneke knew it. Instead of subjecting you to electric jolts he just showed you random violence. He was sure this movie would put you in an ethical dilemma, and to pass this test you had to rip the projector and swear that you would find and murder Haneke, to fail would be to sit back and enjoy the film.

The movie explored the dark side of human emotions, from scene to scene it was cleverly crafted to achieve the desired result. The movie got to me mentally, it frustrated me and disturbed me, for a film to move me in such a way, I'd give it a thumbs up.

She did a stand-up job in this movie. I like that it broke the conventions of the typical hollywood film. Its a good reminder that not everything goes our way... sometimes you flat out just get "fucked" over. Great job Naomi... keep up the good work.
