  • is this a 4x4 or 2x4?

  • @SaberWolf1900 its a 4x4

  • do you use scuba gear when you use the long one?

  • Whats the think at 0:17?

  • To make a snorkel do all you have todo is make another hole in your airbox and run pvc pipe up to the front and run through your plastic? Im only 13 and i dont have much money and i have a 1995 honda fourtrax 300 4x4

  • nice work man it looks great.. i like how you have two tops for it. thats a good idea

  • i got a ? how much it cost in all 4 all the snorkel 4 u?

  • @GEORGIAMUDDAWG1 i paid about 22-28 bucks in that area. the most expensive was the pipe cleaner and the glue

  • to many 90 bends, you prolly had to rejet mine has 1 90 in it and i had to rejet my carb

  • @Mudwarriors2010 @Mudwarriors2010 i didnt have to rejet all i had to do was turn up the idle screw so it would idle on its own. other than that it ran like new.

  • im gona make one for my raptor 660

  • Did you extend any of your venting?

  • @ipodtouchable1 no i didnt its an old 4 wheeler and i didnt want to spend the extra time plus all the differentials have bad seals so after going through one puddle they fill with water so i just left them

  • @darktemp223 I am trying to build a snorkel and just wanted to know if you have to exact those vent lines. so, did u extend ur carb vent lines or anything. and since you didnt vent ur diff, do u have to take it part to get the water out and does that hurt it to have that water in there. Please get back to me cuz i really want to go atvin thias wknd

  • @ipodtouchable1 yes you should extend your vent lines because if you go over them water will go down the lines and into the differential. i didnt extend the carb vent line i just left it and it work fine for me. it doesnt hurt the diffs if theres water in them just dont ride it much cause water isnt a good lubrication. its really easy to drain the diffs theres a screw on the bottom side to drain them and a bigger screw cap on the top side to put the oil in...

  • @darktemp223 k thx.

  • @darktemp223 when you drain the water out, do you have to refill the diffs with oil. idk if there is oil that goes in there or not

  • @ipodtouchable1 yes you have to refill them with oil. it should say on the diff what kind of oil to use or in the manual

  • Panty Hose works best.

  • would putting window screen mesh around the end of the snorkel keep the snow out or would fluffy wet snow thick to it

  • im not sure i havent tried it yet but the metal window screen would probly work. wet snow may not stick to the metal

  • @carter1713 DO NOT DO THIS. this will restrict air flow causing constant jetting and also loss of power. this is the same as choke for the engine. this is why if your choke does not work you can just cover up the snorkel with your hand to manually choke the engine

  • @roksys69 i gained more power out of my machine ive got more torque and i can ow do a 3rd gear donut i was never able to before

  • @darktemp223 no i dont mean the snorkel. snorkels are the best thing scince sliced bread lol, i was talking about putting a mesh screen over the end

  • @roksys69 oo ok i got a plastic mesh screen over mine and i poked a few bigger holes in it and right now its working good

  • @darktemp223 cool might try that soon. a better way light be to get one of those outerwear's for air filters and pull it tight around the end of the snorkel

  • hey good job im thinking of snorkeling mine but what do i do in winter i dont want snow down my snorkel any ideas

  • I'm thinking of trying a really coarse spounge and/or some fine mesh wire

  • I really like that set up, i'm going to have to do that with my brute force, but hondas are still the best!!!

  • is this pretty much the same thing you do to put a snorkel on a recon 250?

  • @BUBBAHUMP1 just about all are the same axept like the can ams and yamahaas but i have a three wheeler and i did that same thing. u just come of the airbox and use alot of silicon

  • im thinkin about gettin a 300 this spring and snorkeling it basically building a mud bike. what all has to be done to snorkel it ? like vent lines etc.? i snorkeled my rancher 350 and my foreman 500.

  • pretty much all you have to do its build the snorkel around the left side of the engine and up through the plastic you dont have to worry about the vent lines they work just like the muffler under water if you want a parts list lemme know

  • hondas are the best (in my opinion)especially the 300 fourtrax model

  • @darktemp223 300 fortrax is the best and will be the best all the way (except for a250 bigred snorkled with 28 outlaws) jk

  • i like the screw on screw off idea

  • its easier to go through the woods with the small one ive almost broke the tall one of a few times

  • yeah i could only immagine

when i buid mine, im definitely incorporating that the only thing i would do is keep a roll of teflon tape to wrap on the threads.. it makes it that much more waterproof theyre like 99cents and wrap it like your screwing it on (righty tighty) that is if you also decide to do that

  • good i dea show me some pics or a vid when you get yours done

  • alright dude i sure will

i gotta get a good bike first

i right now have a yamaha timberwolf

small little 2wd bike that would take me through than bruteforces well atleast until my jesus walk failed :) now in the market for a honda

  • i have a timber wolfe 4wd i have had since 94 thats a bad little succer u should snorkle it and get 6 inch pvc pipe and caps and zip tie them to ur rack with some big tires and that baby would float
