And I just love Ian, he certainly did an awesome job in this role.

Palpatine was never evil! He was just a misunderstood guy!

He wanted to help the galaxy by restoring peace and order to it. And at the same time, he wanted to help Luke complete his training.

The name of the song is Anakin's Dark Deeds, though the first half of the song connects more to Palpatine IMO. I actually happen to like the Emperor a lot, lol, but everyone I know hates him, so that's why I said that. Check out some of my other comments on this vid and you'll understand what I mean.

He's probably the greatest villain of all time and best character in Star Wars.

And I think Ian MacDiarmid deserves alot more than he got for his role!

I have to agree with you, but the majority of people I talk with hate the Emperor's guts, so I figured he was most people's least favorite villain...lol. you're right, Ian MacDiarmid did a fantastic job with his role, and he deserves a lot more credit than he's gotten. With out him, the movies would not have been the same.
