Ford never designed another 4cylinder engine after the ZETEC. As I have said, INTERNATIONALLY, ALL FORD "DURATEC" branded 4 cylinder engines are engineered by Mazda. Even if Ford assembles them, it's still a Mazda design. The 2.5L T5 is a Volvo engine. The 1.4+1.6L diesels are Peugot/PSA. Ford currently uses NO 4cylinders engines of their own design

Ford helped the deal for production units by supplying small things like spark plugs, DBW throttle, dipstick through their OEM suppliers (and these items say FoMoCo on them), but the Mazda L engine is a direct decendant of the Mazda F engine (which Ford also used). The 2.3L L3-VE engine even has the same stroke and rod length as the Mazda F2 2.2L. Cosworth contributed ZERO to production.
@Massive20 Cosworth only makes aftermarket parts & tunes, and they've called it Ford Duratec, instead of the Mazda L-engine because of their paying Ford customers. Ford has a small stake in Mazda <13%, which now offers them NO CONTROL over Mazda. Nearly Ford's whole lineup is based on Mazda engineering and chassis'. Fusion=Mazda6 GG chassis, EuroFocus = Mazda3 BK chassis, Fiesta = Mazda2 DE chassis, Edge=CX7 (research that before you decide to reply). Ford really tries hard to hide it though!!
Out of interest, what sort of BHP and 0-60 time does your 2.3 litre engine get you? I have the 2.0 litre Duratec ST engine which left as standard has 150bhp and 0-60 in 7.9 secs.
The standard 2.0L Duratec in America is only 136bhp.... but due to differen't emissions their pretty restricted... and not as built as the ones across the pond.

you should get a 67mm throttle body. just make sure you tell them to make the spring stronger unless you get a cosworth. Just curious, but is that the saleen suspension from massive? I'm thinking about getting a kit, but it says it lowers it about 1.5 only it looks lower on your car.
