I believe that you can listen to whatever you want to. Even if you are not a christian you can enjoy our music just fine. You'r friend is obviously either haveing a hard time communicateing with you, or is just seriously mistaken.

its a metaphor. how one person can damage another person for the rest of their life. The alcoholic father forces the kid to run away into the woods and hide in a tree, and even after the father fixes himself, the kid is still lost and grows old that way. In the end it shows that a lot of people in the trees.

first song i heard from Blindside a few years ago. played all the time then on TVU and just every other song that ive heard gets better and better. Fell in Love with the Game, Pitiful, and All of Us main ones....yeah, since they have music vids for them.

@MrIvan72 I think this song is about Christian's (the lead singer) past. Like, maybe he's the boy in the drawings and when he says "The boy is gone" he means that he had to grow up faster then he should have because of his dad. And how he's not forgotten by God and that cheers him up.

This video is so great, the drawings can pour out the emotion that was attempting to send out, and the story as well - which, sadly, is very realistic these days - , giving the lyrics much more meaning and the tune fits the atmosphere of it all perfectly.

I found them very recently through P.O.D., and I can say right now that Blindside are amazing! Seriously, everyone should listen to them, they've got truly enjoyable material.

very few good hardcore bands.. best of all would have to be august burns red as far as breakdowns and riffs.. blindside is awesome and underoath of course.. other then that the only two super talented "christian" bands would be as cities burn and mewithoutyou.. two of the most possibly creative bands out there.. simply amazing..

and how does oh sleeper top any christian band?? because they don't even come close to abr. their riffs are nothing crazy. they are just a plain metal band. didn't seem like anything special to me. no crazy breakdowns or riffs..

Both admirable bands, but they have absolutely NOTHING on Blindside. Blindside is in a class all their own. A very distinctive sound that takes people away to another place. Very different songs from the every day boring norm.
