  • no es por critica pero en esta version (Kirill Troussov (18 years old) plays Paganini Caprice 24, LIVE(1999)) me parece que cuando el hace llorar las cuerdas es lo que en verdad buscaba paganni digo no es solo mi humilde opinion.

  • I just met him and didn't know he was so good o.O

  • SO much attitude & conviction in his interpretation & execution.

Look whatever yangkersaya45. Just take a multi daily and lift heavy. Goodluck with your fitness goals in 2011.

  • @Hourus0 Is that so? well, I'm a freshmen in highschool, and my spelling and grammar is still better than your comment, and I love this piece. Haven't played an instrument in my life.

  • .... and whoever plays violin after seeing this can drop it and walk away ... :)

  • I saw him play this live...I almost peed myself. He's amazing.

  • I saw him play this live...I almost peed myself. He's amazing.

  • ahem impressive sir

  • Was he on a revolving platform or was that just a stage-mounted camera circling around him? Either way'd be pretty irritating I think

  • Steve vai of the Violin!

  • @Risims1 No... Steve Vai is the Markov of the guitar :-)

  • My favorite composer, interpreted by my favorite violinist.

  • You write it "Markov" and read it "Paganini".

He even looks a bit like him...

  • Genius and amazing player! God bless you and your talent!

  • 3 people are jealous they cant play the song.

  • Who cares about the plucking part!?

From 3:11 to 4:00 was the best melody I've ever seen on Youtube...

  • @ScarletMagenta I plucking care!

  • Proof that Paganini was a fucking nutter, right here!

  • Andy Samberg can play violin?

  • insane left hand pizz. :O

  • 2 people are just really really inhumane...

  • the devil is making deals again O.O

  • he was at my school today.... he lived in our area when he moved from Russia.... i got an autograph :)

  • DAMN. This is my favorite piece so far, and he plays it the BEST. It's killing me how good it is!

  • awesome!!!!

  • It's interesting that people who don't play the violin find the left hand pizzicato the most impressive. The hardest variations are the one in thirds/tenths (I left that one out altogether when I performed it - not good enough lol), then maybe the one in octaves. The LH pizzicato is the easiest, except for the theme. But still the most impressive....

  • @BlckComb It's hard because it's an unorthodox technique that is really only required in an amount of songs I can count probably on one hand so no one really practices it, also to do it at that speed would take a very long time of practice I would venture longer than to practice the octave variation, definitely a crowd pleaser though

  • @isnipenoobs not in my experience. Doing it fast isn't the problem, the problem is the projection, making sure you don't trip over the notes, and the left hand pizz fourth finger extensions. The octave one is at least slow. The thirds/tenths, however, are in their own league of difficulty.

  • Epic can't even begin to describe one of his bowstrings.

  • He is sexy :)

  • Total bow control. This gentleman has it.

  • Of course. There just has to be that ONE ignorant guy who thinks he's cool by disliking an amazing piece of art he himself probably can't even hold a candle to.

  • @tong135799 This individual is not a violinist.

  • @faronthefiddler If he's not a violinist. Then what is he? A cellist?

  • @tong135799 I was referring to the one dislike on the ratings.

  • @tong135799 apparently there's 2 now... I think a lot of people just dislike things out of jealousy...

  • great playing, amazing left hand pizzicato

but why does the editor makes him look like a dreidel from 4:02 ?

  • its hard to believe that he played this AFTER 23 other caprices without a break

  • Wonderfully musical playing - one of the rarest examples - not just the dazzling technique but also the sense of the whole piece. Rubato in the pizzes is amazing. Personally, I could do with fewer glisses in the last variation, but overall it is one of the most captivating performances of the piece (The 24 Caprices, and/or No. 24 in particular). Bravo!

  • Listen to Accardo if you wanna hear the best version. His pizzicato is actually out of tune....sorry ya'll...He's a better showman than most though.

  • 0:43 did I hear an extra G strike ?

  • @rawautube if you did it didn't matter =)

  • @rawautube like u can do better

  • @Ressilith no i wouldn't ,ever i think !

  • He is the living Paganini. No one even compares to him in playing Paganini, esp. this caprice. Cannot stop listening to this.

  • @alibeshjr

kavakos? I agree Markov has the better touch and is more fun to watch play (his body language while he plays is pure Niccolo, from what I have read).

But for sheer technical prowess, I am not sure I have ever EVER heard anyone like young Kavakos. Not sure there has anyone ever been like him, not in modern times. Check him playing the 5th caprice at like 310 bpm..

  • 2:37-3:10 Fuckin Amazing

I'd like to play violin after seeing this

  • But..But..Is a fucking monster O_O

  • How does this only have 12k views?!? This is so much better than any of those music videos that have 100 million plus views.

  • @xcninja217 There was another (lower quality) version that had 900k+ but it was taken down for some reason.

  • he came to my high school today and performed for my orchestra :)

  • @dharmagrlx fuck me!!!!!!where are you studying??????????'

  • @cellator24 Leonia High School

  • @juggler2332315 its a bit creepy how u know where i go to school.....

  • @dharmagrlx WOW!!!!!!!!! no fair no fair

wat country do u live in?

  • he came to my high school today and played for our school orchestra :)

  • Fastest pizz in history...Woooow

  • nooooo impossible! whaaat the.... the pizzicato! sick !

  • If he could be compared whit paganini he should make symphony songs like 24 caprices he is not paganinis reencarnation he is just an interpreter, sure he is good but not as paganini

  • @EnDGAmERoCkER After reading your "judgment" - I assume you have heard Paganini live? :)

  • I'm neither a classical music expert neither a Paganini one, but today I had a chance to view here on the Tube different performances of this piece: this one is the most dynamic, impressive and expressive, between the ones I listened to. Better, this is BY FAR the most dyamic, impressive and expressive performance. To my untrained ear, of course...

  • oh my... that was some left hand pizzicato. bravo!

  • More I see this video, less I can't believe it....it is just amazing, no words !

  • His movements make me think of how Paganini may have looked like.

  • @axdy91 .......Hey, axdy.........if you believe in reincarnation (and I do)

there's a good possibility Paganini today is Alex Markov. It cant be

proven, of course, but it's possible. All those kiddies, age 3,4,5

who already are virtuoso musicians, where do you their talent came

from? from mom and dad? Hardly. They are simply the

master musicians of yesteryear who have returned to earth to

    entertain us again.

  • Cuanto mas veo este video mas me gusta! A++

  • And to boot, Alex is one of the funniest people I've ever met, tremendous sense of humor. A real hero-fool. And he'll paint your car, roof, and your toenails, all with a roller and a brush. Silly!

  • Perfect !!!

  • oh my god the entrance into the plucking part was astonishing!

  • incredible !, I quess theat's requiring a lot of training, wow.

  • The violin music is so lovely, I think of an angelic choir in the background.

  • i found that his violin is not the best, maybe ,with a better violin,he play very good.bless u! Alexander

  • Wow, this is great.

  • Thank you for the HQ version of this wonderful performance

  • er spielt am besten

  • he plays the best.

haha first time i've used german outside of class

  • wow 2:51 - 3:11

  • what an amazing sounding instrument, luckily it's played by someone with great skill. this is very nice to hear. I was searching for a new violinist to get into after Perlman I didn't think I'd find one I personally would like to listen to but this Markov this excellent.

    Markov = Very Yes

    XD

  • I saw Markov's performance this last sunday and he's amazing, also he's very kind and gentle, always with a smile on his face, happy to sign autographs and to take pictures.

He played Caprice 24, and let me tell you, I forgot to breath, I couldnt move from my seat, you can feel his passion for music in every inch of your body... I think we now have here the new best violin player from all over the world.

Take my advice, if you have the chance to see him, take it! you won't regret it

  • amazing! amazing HQ too. godly pizz
