Why is everyone disputing whether Team Lotus is british or not. Both Team Lotus & Group Lotus are partly malaysian. Team Lotus have alot of UK Staff & Are based in the UK. This is obviously a backup plan in case they lose the High Court case over the Lotus name. If they do lose, expect to see Caterham as the F1 name.
Also, cue a ridiculously overpriced special edition Lotus 7 soon...
If they can pump funds in to reduce showroom prices by increasing production and cutting manufacturing costs through economy of scale, I'm all for it.
