@risycat Your weight sounds perfectly healthy for your height. You're on the light side. However I don't see anything wrong with wanting to exercise & improve your overall physical fitness if that is your intention. However, compulsive calorie restriction is unhealthy.
As a person, the best thing you can do is understand yourself, and then.. you can appreciate yourself for everything you are, and are not. Compulsive calorie restriction is a symptom of not understanding oneself and it wont help.

Since "white" girls tend to have a smaller waist-hip ratio. African american/hispanic girls tend to have a much larger hip-waist ratio so its easy for them to attain a favorable hip-waist ratio while "white" girls have to be very thin to have the same hip-waist ratio

No, Japanese girls are not so anorexic, they are born really small. I'm 5'4 but i'm considered pretty tall. All my friends weigh probably around 100 but they are healthy eaters. They are NOT anorexic, yet getting common. It's sad.
