  • Der Hammer ist: mit dieser Gitarre habe ich eine komplette CD eingespielt - weil wir alle Gitarren vorher ausprobiert hatten welche den besten Klang hat! Hammerteil was ich mir irgendwann selbst geschenkt habe!

  • sounds great, much underrated guitar...

  • would you be willing to sell this ever? ive been in the market for an es-135 for under 1200...

  • @y3k23k I've got one I'm trying to move.

  • Fantastic sound

    Which pedal is better?

The Maxon OD 820 or TC Nova Delay

  • yeahhhhhhh

  • is the pick guard removable?

  • great tone!!

  • wow..its really blues..all d best 4 u

  • buy it it is a great guitar. You can play it all fron blues to jazz, country or rockabilly. One of the guitars of g&r was one of these.

  • hey i am thinking about getting one of these i found one for 1200 and im wondering how much you paid and how good it is distorted or for any type of rock or what you like and dont like about it

  • I use it quite a lot with distortion. Trust me. It can handle a lot. You may get a bit of trouble with the neck-pickup there, because it has a acoustic-kinda sound. It sounds great for every kind of Rock, Jazz and of course Blues. Most I like about the guitar is the full and warm sound of the neck-pickup and the bite of the bridge-pickup. What I don`t like about the guitar is, that it sounds dull. If you wanna hear an example of how it sounds with distortion, check out some of my videos :-)

  • miclain1995 I have one in excellent condition, tobacco sunburt that I would sell to you for less than 1200 us dollars

    If interested let me know

  • What year is your SilverFace? Sounds great! I have a '73 SF Twin Reverb....everybody is turning their SF's to Blackfaces...which is slightly criminal. Someday those super clean SF circuits will be sought after.

  • All of your recordings have really amazing sound quality even beyond the guitar itself. How do you record? What kind of mic? Into what kind of device? Thanks.

  • Classy looking axe in black and chrome. It might be just be me but anyone ever notice that trapeze tailpieces gives the archtops more slinky action for playability?

  • @pissballs: I think it is actually a bit stiffer, like when you have 11s on them they feel kinda like 12s. Thats when i compare my Casino to my 335 with the same strings anyway.

  • You've sold me on this guitar, I must have one!

Lovely playing, I listen to this video everyday now! :)

  • awesome tone and playing!!! The ES 135 is one sweet guitar!!!

  • amazing job. by the way, what do you have your nova delay settings at? sounds great!

  • sorry, I don't know anymore how the delay was set - too long ago...

  • are u sure that your pedal is a ibanez didn't you mean MAXON

  • Great playing!

What do you think of the P100 ES135?

    I got one....but I'll keep them in.

  • Thanks, I like the P-100 ES-135 too! I have a sunburst one and it is a great guitar!

  • ok... an update, I changed the P-100 for P-90 in my sunburst ES-135 - it's much better (was not really bad before, but hey...)

  • Awesome played, and great sound.

  • Very nice ! Well done !

  • great!

  • LOVE this guitar...I bought one used for $700.00. I'm not sure exactly why Gibson discontinued for the ES 137. It does feedback quite a bit with some gain, but I can control it. One of my dream guitars is an ES 175, but I don't have the bucks or the chops to warrant a purchase. I love the sound Steve Howe, Pat Metheny, and Brian Hughes get out of it. With the ES 135 and a Lexicon MX 200 I can come pretty close to what I'm looking for. Thanks for the video...great stuff!
