@jhonyx555 Yes, but not just that. it helps preventing concussions too. Sparring without headgear is for idiots imo. Even the very best professional boxers spar with headgear (thicker and more protection than headgear used in amateur boxing). Why fuck yourself up and take unneccessary punches and potential damage in training, when you will get hit plenty in the real fight.

I love K-1 regardless of Heavyweight or MAX, and I love MMA. But most of these guys don't really have iron chins.
