I sincerely love Owl City's music, and I too isn't that much of a macho man (and I encourage guys to show some sincere feelings) - but seriously: either is he (Owl City) aiming directly at winning whimpy teenage girl hearts with those over the top sugary cotton soft lyrics he sometimes (too often) throws in, or he must be such a püssy in real life.
