Jason: whether or not YOU think you can't replicate those old improvs, your audience gets to hear you playing better and better each time out -you just don't know it, you perfectionist you :) These moments stand alone and shouldn't be "replicated/duplicated".
Noway man no offence was taked even in the slightest..I so often can't replicate old improvs...it's actually very frustrating to me...Some times if I play good and I see it here i think I'll never be able to do it again then I'll try at the next gig and totally screw it up trying to relive that moment instead of being in THE moment and all that true ass zen crap...The speed thing is just a lot of practice..Thank you!!!!
Jason: They're captured forever on video, which I'M thrilled about, since I now get to see you, even when I can't be there in person. Very cool indeed. Even with my little chromatic playing, I can't play the same song the same way twice. It IS to do with being "in the moment" and that's as it should be. It gives the audience at THAT moment, something special. You give so many special moments ;) "Just practice" huh? You're too funny...
When you did the slow overblows? It was nice and relaxed, really went well with all that followed!

Sorry Jason, that was a joke (see the smiley).
I envy your speed. Afraid if I tried that I'd rip my mustache out by its roots.
