@voja1703 , It was actually taken from another source. Thanks I like the quality as well. Hopefully one day we will find out that the NATO bombing didn't destroy the original tapes and they can release the original full show, but its a dream.
@triofdoom How surprising! There is another source??? These are great news. Do you also have other 40 minutes, or just Birdland? Original tapes were distroyed years before NATO campaign, otherwise somebody will put this concert on Serbian TV between November 1st 1980 and April 1999, which didn't happened.
Check out my channel I have posted some other parts of the show, I have been posting some of them. Yea, it's 40 minutes, but the tape goes bad when they play badia/boogie woogie waltz because of all the purple flashes, but it's great audio and the performance is amazing as you know.

Meanwhile, we are now in the middle of researches here in Belgrade - trying to find first copy of it, if such exists. Do you think that this Birdland copy comes from the same source, but it is earlier generation of the copy, of it is possible that we have 2 different sources? Do you also have txt in Serbian about the band on 12:11 of the whole tape?
A few years ago, I was responding on the internet to a person from Serbia/Yugoslavia and he said he was apart of the radio station that boadcasted the show. but we lost contact, are you that person. I got the tape from a person living in South America ironically, but I haven't been able to get in touch with him. Whoever he is, he has the full show in audio, I think. I guess we shall keep trying. I had too had the copy that everyone else had, but a few years ago I was able to get this

I'm trying for years to digitalize whole concerte audio tape taken from P.A. mixer on Revox 2 channel tape recorder. Sound on it is mixed for PA outside, and as you know, good sound in Pionir is mission imposible.

I remember this tour, but the segue into Jaco's "Liberty City" at 3:38 wasn't always part of the "Birdland" they performed. Great: thanks for posting this.

My plan is to digitalze that tape soon as I find two track tape racorder. I'm gonna do it in FLAC 24bit 192 KHz.
