My basic 909 setting option on drumazon have a very different sound from his one , that why i asked for ^^ (I'm using live 8.2)

hey , i have 2 questions , first of , with drumazon , it keeps looping my kick , i cant get it with a long tail :( , and if i process it on low bpm it sounds weird at 148 or 150 bpm... :( and 2nd its the first distortion , the clip it as mutch as you can part.. when do you know if your at the right clipping , i over distort it and i loose my tail but when i put less distortion it doesnt sound distorted enough :( , pls help , because im kinda stuck :) , love the work you guys do !

@Toneshifterzfan Turn off the internal sequencer, its weird cos u make the tail too long, or your BPM is fucking with the time stretch in the kick, you know when ur clipping right when it sounds right to you.......

@Toneshifterzfan i use to first make a kick in drumazon with the "punch" turned on the max. Then i open it in the fabfilter pro EQ and a EQ it on very low hz (30-50) to get that deep punch sub-bass. Then i save it and open the sample kick i just made and distort and eq it even more. Ellie from toneshifterz is showing how to make a crunchy kick, but i couldt get it as good as he gets it so i just play around with distortion (camelcrusher) and turn the eq up and down to get the kick i wanted.

I think you have misunderstood @dominickd16. What you're referring to is the default plugins, or 'native' (adj.) as you call them. What @dominickd16 is talking about is an ACTUAL third-party plugin(s) by the company NATIVE INSTRUMENTS.

google: 'native instruments'

That must have caused your confusion + conflict (about Native being good/not good). Please refer to the default plugins as 'default' instead of 'native' from now on.

@BlackoutOfficialz The only thing you couldn't do is the Cubase plugins but FL has the same plugins for that just named differently with a different look. You can use drumazon in fl and camel phat + every DAW has a eq... so you don't know what your talking about.

No, I truly doubt my rig is shit. And as I said, I know FL and I did not switch to Cubase for no reason. I have only experienced disappointments during my FL Days....including project killing Crashes.

And if you dont see the differences between an Sonalksis EQ and and FL stock EQ....you should go all the way back to Theoritical Soundprocessing.

Maths wont lie in that case.

@BlackoutOfficialz Omegatypez uses FL Studio what are you getting at? you can get different EQ's for any DAW an example would be Fabfilter. Why wouldn't you be able to use Parametric eq 2 in fl? yeah that's what I thought. Another guy who doesn't have the music to back up it's knowledge on bashing other DAW rant over.
