@vividDC I don't think the remasters are better cz they have removed the mistakes and there were a fair few so it takes away the integrity of the original recording and it's soul turning it into yet another piece of computerised processed corporate shite. They should have just remastered NOT re edited which is what these really are they are re edits from the master tapes not just simply a remix and on that account I think they suck Also they sound weak when compared with the original MONO mixes

I first saw the the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan when I was 7 years old, on a black and white TV. It was a wonderful experience! I took up the guitar, I had my own DJ business for years. I am 54 years now. I have all their original records. As for you young people, the music is timeless !

I can go from listening to AC /DC ,Iggy and the Stooges and fusion era Miles Davis right back to this music and forget completely what I was just listening to before. I have a 60s Brit pop coverband called the prellies. I read years ago that they munched 'em during their Hamburg days. They played like 3 shows a day and had to sleep together behind the screenin a theater. How cool is it that Bob Dylan, this other guy who plays guitar, turned them on. The stuff was practically legal then. Prellies were over-the-counter, or prescription stuff and lsd was legal. . All of 'em were getting baked back then. the boys were taking drugs just lik everyone now is in pop culture. They didn't start it, they just took recreational drugs to cope with their schedule and probably make themselves feel good. I'm puffing one right now, and now "I feel fine". I actually started rec use of fun stuff becaus eI saw a video interview of paul back in the 70s where he explained about his use of lsd. If it's good enough for him, I figured I'd try. It was lovely. They don't have quality drugs or bands anymore. Sigh..

Crack? I seriously doubt they had that back then. Crack is something that drug lords came out with back in the 80's. They found that if they mixed baking soda with cocaine and water, it would produce a new rock hard substance that they could sell piece by piece and make a killing off of it.
