Hell, I've made an inventory of my games and realised I actually bough half of my portable games for the PSP and enjoyed them too.

These are all great thanks to a fixed or simple camera. Not to mention PSP PWNS all racing games.

I just read this. Have you ever played SFDM online? You'd be murdered if you couldn't breeze through single player without target lock. I could run through the entire game just killing enemies as I complete the levels. I prefer to aim with a analog because it's got all the same stuff and doesn't ever have problems with multiple fingers touching it/inaccuracy.

I could play the game, I got to the last freaking level on medium difficulty but it just became so freaking frustrating as enemies ambush you from all sides you can't set the sensitivity high enough to turn around in time yet also be precise enough to hit anything, even with auto aim.

Yeah, there's analogue aim ( w/ face buttons to move) but I guess you must be more ambidextrous than me as I can't handle that.

People that are ridiculing the graphics need to wise up. Sure the graphics could be better but the fact is it was made for the PSP and DS which are not as powerful as the bigger gaming platforms. I'm considering getting a PSP just so I can play this game :) The only thing bugging me now is the fact that the last Duke Nukem game to be released on the PC so far is Manhattan project; Forever better be worth it (if it comes out).

As someone who has played fps games on both the PSP and the DS, I'll have you know the DS is FAR superior at FPS and shooters in general thanks to to the touch screen aim.

But touch screen is only worth it on DS if you use a thumb mounted stylus where aiming is (ergonomically) similar to using the R analogue stick on a console gamepad.

I struggled through Syphon Filter Dark Mirror even with auto aim, yet found it a breeze shooting small fast moving enemies in Metroid Prime Hunters.

Almost every single critic has said the cover and auto aim are VITAL for making SFDM playable at all.

The DS stylus is precise enough to write and draw pictures with... try that with PSP face buttons or even the analogue nub.

Not a single shooter on DS has auto aim... none... because it is not needed. Stylus is good enough

DS shooters like Metroid Prime Hunters usually have you facing multiple fast moving enemies in the open, no cover, only running, dodging + shooting

I read about this, the games will be the same as far story line goes, gameplay:

DS: side scroller whit minigames (cover an shot, sniper in wich you have to make duke hold breath and aim, space harrier like action when on an alley only you just walk)

PSP: will be almoust a sand box game, can change views (FP, RE4 like, and classic), will have jetpack level where you can control where duke goes as you blast enemies.

For what I read, it will be the first of a Duke trilogy for both PSP and DS.

All 3 were side scrollers, Duke was originally a side scroller game, Duke Nukem Manhattan was way better than most Duke Nukem Games, Duke does extremely well in FPS and sidescroll. shaky textures, repeated bosses, bad level design, repetitive gameplay, etc.

Lol, who the fanboy? I admit that the PSP is good. Even though I unfortunetely haven't played one myself yet, I know it's a great system. It has superior hardware and you could do a lot more with it, at least until the DSi came out. However, what matters are the games. The PSP has some great games, but not too many because it sadly lacks in it's games library. The DS on the other hand has the innovative touch screen and a huge library of games, a ton of which are great.
