I'm really bad with phones and electronics in general..

If I were to buy this phone on ebay ( unlocked version )

Would it work in the US ? and how would I connect it to the phone service ? Would I just call AT&T and ask them to connect it ?

@bobaxranger it will only work with tmobile or att, YOU NEED TO HAVE A SIMCARD ALREADY from the company you're with. just take the card out of the phone you have now and put it in the lg lollipop. this phone isn't really made for the US, so sometimes its hard to get a signal, in all it does and can work. with att you also need manual put some stuff in your settings, in order to get internet and mms messages to work . thats all i got for you. hope this helps

@lovesviolett are sure you installed the game first? you go into my files and in my games and apps should have the jar file you downloaded and click install or if not in those files in another one, like others or something like that, it wont show up under the my games and apps tab if you havent installed it.

yes the photos come out great actually. 3 mega pixels on this phone is clear for me. the higher the quality the bigger the photo you can make it.

mine is the chinese and english keypad.

but i do think they sell it in korean , before you buy the phone, make sure you ask the person youre buying it from which kind of keypad it has. maybe they have different kinds. always ask as many questions ! because like some phones, they dont come with certain things, font , certain colors etc. make sure you get everything you want.

it also comes with korean language though, you can still text in korean, the phone pops up with a korean keypad on the screen, just not on the keypad itself.

could you tell me the settings for mms and internet? different sites are telling me different things so i want to see what you have :) i have the gd580 and use AT&T as well. I did do the manual programming for the bubble font...just fyi...i dont know if that matters with the settings. (how'd you get tamagotchi!? O.o) thank you :)

sure if you visit my channel and look through my uplads , ive made a video how to, to get mms and internet on your lg lollipop. but what the hey , i'll just send you the video via message too. easier. and as for the bubble font, it doesnt affect the phone settings i dont think. im pretty sure it doesnt. lets hope not...

i got the tamagotchi games from a website long time ago. i forgot what its called. but you can download games off websites as long as its JAVA.

I just got this. It doesn't detect AT&T network. When I did a manual search, it only showed T-Mobile. Did you have to do something different to have it connect with AT&T?

@MissHMC318 Did you get the Chinese version lg lollipop gd580? thats the one i have, it detects my AT&T simcard, at first i could not send or recieve mms msgs, nor could i go online , but i fixed that by manually inputting some settings into my phone. which i made a video for. but if thats not the case, and you just cant get any service whatsoever, it must be something else , im not sure. what do you mean you did a manual search? google online? how did it show Tmobile ?is it a lg DLITE?

@ThePixiepiccsy Yes, I got the Chinese version from eBay. For the manual search, I went to Settings>Network>Select Network>Manual. I even tried set it to GSM 1900 from Network mode. Yours came up automatically? I followed your video about settings. Maybe it's my AT&T plan affects it? I am on a family plan.

im on a familly plan as well , that should not be the problem though. The network settings are way different from mine. Try changing it to what i have. Go to settings>network>select network>AUTOMATIC.

then go back to settings>network>network mode> AUTOMATIC>

THEN TURN OFF YOUR PHONE FOR a min or so. take out the battery, put it back in. just to see if it works. tell me what happens.

@ThePixiepiccsy Yeah it the network is still not detected. Initially, I had it on automatic. Then, I tried manually. This sucks. I really like this phone. I guess I'll change carrier for it, though I like to stay with AT&T.

@MissHMC318 yikes.. where do you live? maybe its the area you live at? sometimes service isnt that great, i live in Los Angeles so my service is everywhere. or it could be the sim card itself? mine is 3g. hmm. i dont know. im trying real hard to figure it out. maybe you should get a different sim card. or go to att and ask them about this problem and just demand they fix the service.Or you could always return your phone and make them give you another one?

@Sadiecreation The phone does not have more animations than the lg dlite, they have exactly the same amount, you can edit and design your own animations with both phones though! :3
